Yes, I agree 100% with you. Lets be honest here. SE phones are the best looking. And Moto have unique differnt looking phones.
Samsung leads the technology race, but fails on its support/upgrades.
Nokia has been quiet, but has the best support/upgrades. The new N8 has the best camera/video etc, but appears vey average with it internet etc.

And yes I totally agree with you my friend. The reason why Sony products are highly respected is because the originality and creativity that comes with their products.
Sony is considered a premium and high class product, I'm not saying their perfect, but they have secured them selves a great reputation worldwide. Samsung on the other hand even with their great technology they still depend on copying others, for god sakes look at the galaxy s, it's just another iphone, nothing more.
Leave my opinion for now, read what the experts in gsmarena wrote in the review regarding the galaxy tab :
"Now as their financial reports suggest, Apple is hardly known for pricing their products reasonably, but the Americans have earned themselves a name as a premium product manufacturer and have a user-base with unprecedented loyalty. Samsung on the other hand is working hard to achieve the first (all it probably needs is a little more time), but is probably years away from securing the second"
Did you notice that gsmarena admitted that samsung is not a premium brand? And this makes sense since most samsung product are cheap in price and built with cheap material as well.
Some people claim that since samsung sells more than Sony this means they are better, hell no! Toyoto sells more than Porsche and BMW, does this makes them better? Of course not.

It's really funny how some people accuse me for not sharing others awards, for god sakes this is a se forum not a general forum to speak about every manufacture!!
Does it make sense to visit a volvo manufacture and accuse them for being dishonest because they didn't reveal the awards of BMW or Audi?!! Volvo have all the right to speak about their achievements in their place.
Same goes here, I'm speaking about what Sony ericsson achieved and yes they achieved a lot! This is the right place to discuss se phones not samsung phones or any other brand. This is the whole reason why gsmarena made a forum for every phone.
If you are interested in general discussions that there are other places that satisfy your need. And by the way I didn't lie at all! SE truly did receive such awards, and if samsung won the best smart phone, se won the best phone of the year !

Its what we called innovation.
And if there any phone maker who has the rights and potential to make the best gaming phone, it would be SE. Look at nokia, where is there N-Gage now? How many of the apple's million apps has descent games? i would even consider winmo7 to be more of a potential considering their partnets could stil alter the hardware designs.

Who won the smartphone of the year award? Samsung with their Galaxy S. EISA calls it a “jewel in the crown” and they’ve absolutely creamed themselves over the quality of the screen.

Guys THE PSP Phone of sony ericsson has again surfaced up & this time it's for REAL !!!
Specs r Great !!!
Android 3.0 with 1Ghz processor,512 mb RAM, 1 GB ROM, Screen size bet. 3.7 inch to 4.1 inch and with great PSP look.
Sony ericsson has also stated in a press conference that there r some big suprises coming in next few months.
So this time it's 100% real.

Every time I get excited about the X10 and that it's getting the 2.1 android version with HD recording + Auto focus features, but then after I take a look at my X2 and start typing on it, I realize that nothing can replace the amazing hardware keyboard that we have on our devices.
And since I'm a heavy texter, I find it hard to let go :)
Well hmmm, maybe one day soon I'll change my mind, but for now I indeed think the keyboard and the good size for the X2 are major pluses for it :>
