canberry white is a very good color option for yari(specially); but only if you dont use it extensively. so that if you see your white yari after every couple hours later it will delight you. either it will bore you.

want to choose color? i have some recommendation. so, if you are going to use yari extensively like everytime everytime everytime anywhere everywhere then you should go for the black one because,black dosent gets bored easily. tough it is common. but thats a fact.

hi every one
I got this mobile for Rs.12,100 at "the mobile store" about a month ago. This is my first hipriced mobile(my previous one cost just 1 thousand bucks ;P ) I had been hesitating to invest a lot in mobiles so always prefered digicams,Playstations and ipods than mobiles. But my first risk seems worthy :)
it has a attractive display, camera quality-both pic n video, processing speeds(never hung so far) GPS is amazing, so nokia users never comment on this ;)
On the other hand, keypad is not really comfortable for fast texting, Dont think this is the best sound from sony mobiles and not so impressive battery backup, signal reception can be annoying sometimes
But overall, If u dont go deep into forests or work in a stone mine or lathe its still the best option for Rs.12k :)

Some more of my experiences with my new YARI (love the name)
--One odd feeling is with the two white soft keys above call keys as they are very small, but after 3 days i started getting used to with it...
--Me myself is a multimedia monster in terms of usage..lots of songs..movies..youTu..radio..thousands of pictures..etc..on my 8 GB card..explored through all..Yari never hanged..
--the large circular D-pad is really very good to use..
--Typing very fast for SMSers...will be a bit difficult for some days..but then it will be very very easy..its also having predictive text input..also remembers what i typed previously..and shows in typing new messages.. (this feature was in my Xperia X1)
--Audio quality as I said before..mindboggling..superb..fantastic..the inbuilt stero speakers are enough loud..I thrown away my sony small stereo speakers..
--one very good surprise was GPS..i used GPS in my N85 and Xperia and Samsung Jet..and i started thinking that GPS can't work in indoor areas..Yari prooved my wrong..

RedX, 28 Feb 2010I got my 'Yari' yesterday..don't know much about other thin... moreIs the sound quality really good? Im supposed to buy this handset very soon. I read many reviews, some said the sound quality is not so good as SE walkman phones rock. I havent used sony ericsson much, but wanted a good review on the overall features and usage. Thanks for ur take on the sound quality. Looking forward to ur next review.

just the camera and yari is perfect. i do not like apple iphone like blad picture quality from 5 mega pixel yari. hope sony-e will fix it and i shall buy and own yari.-request, sony ericsson rocks.

I got my 'Yari' yesterday..don't know much about other things yet..but one thing is for sure..Music Quality is Top Notch..never heard mobile like this one before..I have used almost all 'W' series of SE but this one sounds far far far better..and screen quality is also very very good comparatively (I have used samsung jet) will be giving opinions about other things later...

Compare with n73me
Does it has better colour and sharper images taken by camera
Its led flash is more powerful than n73 me?
Its shutter speed is faster than n73me
Any real user who had n73 me and now using yari

This phone is known as KITA in the Philippines. Lol to change the wordings.
YARI, in philippines, is used by Micael V. in his show "Bitoy's Funniest Video" YARI KA!! means Gotcha as a gag expression.

Does the Sony Ericsson Yari has proper zoom. It says it has got 4x zooom and 5 megapixel camera. But is it possible to zoom the camera to 4x with 5mp itself. or will this mobile camera zoom to 4x only at VGA mode? Because i bought a Sony Ericsson C510 mobile which has 3.2 mp cam, but can zoom to 3.2x only in VGA mode. Please tell me whether it can zoom to 4x in 5mp mode itself????
