Hey people there is a sonyericsson .com site for your questions you know!Anyways about the 6 years its completely silly and i will not make any more comments.The phone is Dual mode and it means tha it works both in gsm and umts networks!

i just want to know something.if the country i live hasn't got the technology of eg phones will the z1010 work?because i heard it won't work.im from cyprus and they say that z1010 will come in 6 years!!!i don't care for going to another country for buying it but i want to know if it's going to work.if anyone knows the answer e-mail me please to StephanErkle830@hotmail.com

I Just did a quick measure meant of the NEC e525 and they are pretty much the same size. So if you want to know the Size of an SE1010 go to your local retailer and check out the NEC e525.

The trial unit of this phone is already in Singapore. I get to play with it for around 1 hour(I pissed the sales assistant for trying so long) and guess what!!! Iwas chosen to be one of the tester for this phone in December for the 3G service in Singapore and best of all its free!!!(But I will not get the phone in the end)
Here are a few points for you guys to look out, and also as I am using a trial unit not all functions are in.
1)The phone provides a very nice LCD screen.
2)The phone is extremely big in size.
3)Polyphonic tones sound the same as Z600.
4)The internal camera can take your own photos.
5)The trial unit is totally grey in colour and looks extremely ugly not like the red one shown here.
6)The expansion slot is hidden nicely.
When I get to hold the phone in December to try out the 3G service I will write another short guide here.
For you Singaporeans, the sales assistant told me the phone will be launch eearly next year but all the 3G phone(confirm launching is Samsung Z100, SE Z1010 and Siemens U10) will cost over SGD1000. Also Singaporeans can go to Hello! Orchad to see the dummies of this phones. Who knows, you might get chosen.

I think the Z1010 is one of the best phones because he has a card-reader, UMTS, twin-cameras, a large display, and it isn't big. For me the best phones are they from Sony-ericsson, siemens and samsung. I hate nokia now. They are all big and bad. They have nothing extra.
