am from philippine too and this phone is not available yet so i think trish got a different phone. i think she confused this phone to the one she got from her mom. hehehe!

the purpose of gmask is to protect the phone from scratches. you can cover the whole phone with thin layer film. gmask is the anme of the store. it's in most malls nowadays. it's expensive though.

yes there are ordinary gmask that are transparent and are cheaper than those with designs.

its a low budget phone,and it should be cheap,because it doesnt have spectacular functions..it has everything a average user needs,bluetooth,camera,edge,mp3,14mb,its small,has cool design

not only people in the philippines knows about Gmask, actually it became popular first in other asian countries like japan,malaysia and india. I am thinking, if you could make it Gmasked transparent?

on one side, this is one of the best looking phone! on the other side, this phone have some of the worst features or lack of. for one,it has a bad lcd screen, having no video is ok for me but at least it should be cstn screen not stn.

i think it's cute! When will it be out in the Philippines? this is prone to scratches for sure...can you put something to protect it like a screen protector?

I admit that it doesn't have as many features as the Z610, but let's face it, this phone was designed only to be used as a phone and not as a camera or an mp3player. I think is has a cool design and it is perfect for someone who already has an iPod and a camera.
I recommend SE to all the smart people!

The display is CSTN of course. CSTN stand for "Colour STN". By the way, STN is monochromic display (one colour) while that device have over 65K colours.
About the phone itself - the design is just GREAT but the specs just way too low.

Apart from the Z610 all of SE's flip phones are ugly! And maybe the W710i is an exception!
