Bad Phone. Does not last very long, i have had mine for less than a year and has already stopped functioning. After around 8 months, you will begin to notice it randomly blacking out then turning back on. Over the next 2 months it will become more frequent to the point of not being able to use it. This has not just happened to me but several of my friends that had bought this phone as well. Only temporary phone, do not expect to last long.

Hi!. I'm thinking of buying this phone. But after reading you guy's opinions I'm starting to change my mind, and get a different phone. Should I buy it?. Is it a good phone?

The battery life in this phone is actually very good depending on if you look after the battery itself.

Remember, leaving the phone on charge once it has fully charged (ie. leaving it on overnight) damages the battery and severely reduces the battery life over time!!

The battery life of this phone is abysmal. I'm charging the phone nightly after it sits (unused) in my bag for a day. It's stylish and solidly built but it's not user-friendly.

Paid $69 for it and that's paying too much.

I have this SE Z310i phone and used it for 5 month 2 week. During the time, this phone is good. It can do multitasking, such as when you play a game you can minimize the game(without should end the game) when there is incoming message, and you want to reply immediately. Just press the Activity Menu at left bottom while you're playing a game.
You can download pictures or a game in a site. These can be installed after saved in the phone. But sometimes it reboot itself first when making a calls or send a message, then it can be worked again. Remember, this can be happened any time. The keypad is soft and responsive, I think.

I've had this phone for about 2 months. This is a decent entry-level phone but if your life revolves around your cell phone this one isn't for you. It does have some cool features for the money I paid for it (one US penny). Yeah it only has 14 MB of memory but that is more than enough to support its features.

My old phone was a Nokia 3560 - just a basic phone. The way a I see it, if you want an MP3 player that bad then buy MP3 player. If you want a good camera...buy one, if you need to surf the net...buy a computer or go public kiosk. People expect way too much from their little phones these days. Whatever happenned to being content with a phone that just gets good reception, has decent battery life, and isn't as fragile as glass? That Nokia 3560 did all of that in a dead sprint but the SE Z310 has trouble doing it at a walking pace.

In regards to its basic function, my new Sony Ericsson Z310a isn't half the phone my Nokia was. Even when I have great reception I constantly have people telling me to speak louder & clearer. When I dial a number it never seems to want to connect right away.

I find the Z310a is missing the little features that my Nokia had like timed profiles, and being able to turn off your own caller ID. When you go to play ringtones to show them off it plays it at a non-adjustable volume that simply isn't loud enough. If I have it in my pants pocket which it usually where it resides when I'm at work I usually can't hear it ring, even with the speaker opening facing out and the vibrate isn't strong enough to even bother with. The external display only shows the time and if its remotely bright out you can't see it anyways.

I guess overall I am dissapointed that this new phone any many others as feature packed as they are they can't do the basics nearly as well as my old Nokia 3560 which people always pointed and laughed at

i suggest you don't get this phone...when using it, it feels like it can be easily broken and cheap...worst phone available!

Just bought it. Not bad, big change from Motorola. Only downside is screen quality and lack of memory space. But otherwise, quite a bargain package. Fast bluetooth, and great networking options.

I have a Z310i, and it's been difficult to get it connected through bluetooth to my laptop. Although the dong works fine, and the phone is initially detected by the Sony Erisson software, the program is unable to detect the phone after typing on it the security code. I've tried turnning off the phone and reconnecting, but to no avail so far. Any ideas? Thanks a lot!!
