Worst phone and worst service ever.I previously had motorola and purchased Sony ericsson Z520i with cingular plan.Cant keep the phone cause of its quality and cant throw cause of cingular agreement. The battery charger has problems every time. Phone turns off any time and need to reboot every now and then. Camera click even in jeans pocket. An unhappy customer. with lots of regrets

As for putting Mp3 into this phone, you can do so by editing the mp3s of your choice with a mp3 maker software and transfer them via bluetooth. since this phone is just 16 mb, all can do is to transfer just the chorus part of the song. and believe me, you can store up to 10 mp3s (or even more).
I've been having this phone since Dec 2005 and until now, I still love it to bits. I gotta say it's a great phone. :)

its cool and its so easy to use it dosen't hung everything you need and package in a very small phone have XDA IIi also but i use my Z520i more

i bought this phone about three weeks ago and it's been great. it fit my budget perfectly cause its cheap and with so many features (i dont really know hot to use it all)
it's true that the screen flickers when being opened and it also freaks me out since my sis got a samsung which opened smoothly. i find the 'click' sound rather annoying when you open the phone, so does the camera.
is right that usb port can be used on this phone cause my laptop doesnt have infrared. i bought this phone with a charger and cover so maybe that's why i got it cheap!
overall i love this phone, cover and everything! camera's fine since i dont use it that much and memory's just enough for my use of a phone...if only i knew how to put mp3 in the phone...

well.. i definitely love this phone so much! i have this phone for almost one and a half month still it looks so brand new! the main disadvantage of this phone is its poor memory, you cant store too many mp3s, but mp3 isnt important anymore, what matters is the great functions and features of this phone. i love this phone much better than my old k700i. eventhough this phone had no usb port or radio, radio is isnt important its just a lame feature , plus, the z520i is light and easy to carry unlike k700i its way too eavy... we had our presentation last january and i still had to let anyone hold my phone for while coz its too heavy unlike z520i its always in my pocket! i love z520i! lots to this phone!

16mb is a bit too small to keep songs as 3-5 songs can actually take up the whole phone's memory. Still, it makes a good transfering device with its bluetooth v2.0 and infrared. Nice features, nice design, able to take slf potrait. 0.3 VGA cam is alright but the displaying pixels is a little too small. Pictures are not that clear. Also, the camera clicking sound is annoying and can't be turned off. At times, it will turn off itself..So its quite annoying if u r handling sumthin important. Calls are slow as you might need to speak hello twice when u answer calls at times. Flip design makes it an ideal phone for moderate user as it offers a wide variety of games and players, and even an OPERA mini web browser!

Honestly, if you're looking for an MP3 phone, this isn't the right phone for you. You can fit approximately 3-5 full songs on there, depending on the size of your song files... it's a good idea to cut up your mp3 files if you want to use them as ringtones, and that way you can fit a whole heap of ringtones. With average sized pictures, they take up little space so you can fit lots of them in...
Does anyone know how to switch the camera button sound off? Even on silent mode, the phone makes that annoying 'camera click' sound when pressed!

yeh i did notice that the fone flickers when you open it!! i just ignored it for a while but im freaking out that it might do something dodgy and turn off by itself! other than that i reckon its a great fone. love the sound recorder and camera.

This phone looks soooo gorgeous!! I am so tempted to buy it! But one thing holding me back is the MEMORY IS SO LITTLE!!! 16 MB?? What am I gonna do with that? How many photos, mp3's and sms can I store in it?? Please advise me whethere or not to get it? Thanks!

hi...i am interested in sony ericsson Z520..is very nice since i first time look at it.. i plan to buy this phone..but one problem is the phone memory is very low..just 16MB..i just wanna ask whether i can buy a memory card to add in the memory??..anyone who knew it..plz tell me k???tq very much...

At first I thought this phone was fantastic, i haven't had it long but it keeps freezing, crashing, turning itself off & on the front screen when i press the button that activates the phone status it's white & i can't see any writing at all unless i tilt it down & i can just about make out what it says, which is also what happens when someone phones. I was writing a text one night which contained 10 texts in one & just before i finished it the phone switched itself off & i lost all the text! arrrgh! When i answer the phone i have to say hello twice because people don't hear me the first time.... Does anyone else have the same problems? I;m upset as i thought i was a sony ericsson convert when i first got it but my next phone will have to be a good old nokia:-)

i think this is one of the best phones out there considering its price...
i would like to know where ca i download some add-ons for the phone, i tried from sonyericsson.com but it didnt worked for some reason, i love in the Dominican Republic.

this is the best phone ever and i love the pink cover it comes with features absolutley superb easily better than all the new phones on the market and more sylish.

Can anyone explain which one should i chose camera in a phone or bluetooth because i have heared some preety bad things about SEz520 that after a while it doesn't work, difficuties in recieving phone so i was upgrading my service so was wondering which one should i pick camera or bluetooth let me know if possible thanks guyz
