I don't get all the complaints about the Sony z520 phones. I've had mine for 2 years & it works great! It has a camera but it's not really a camera so don't expect that. No phone is meant to be dropped on concrete as many of you stated you've done. Snapping shut a case with an LCD display will almost always cause a problem as that's a liquid crystal which technically allows it to slosh around when dropped or snapped. Treat it like what it is a phone and don't abuse it. You really might be surprised! I watched my own son throw his onto the ground after a conversation with his wife. Hello they don't bounce!

i think everyone else has been having the same problem, but i've had the phone for 4 months now, and only dropped it on concrete once. it still worked fine though...then the other day i pick it up and the screen goes blank, like it's all white. i called sony, they said it needs new software. yea sure...we'll see if an upgrade works....

this phone is absolutely terrible....my first one stopped working out of the blue just wouldnt turn on and when it did just a blank screen...then my replacement did the same thing after only about a month of use...

I have read several comments that the phone LCD screen goes balnk or white. That happened to me. Can a replacement screen be installed by a do-it-yourselfer and if so, anyone know where to get one cheaply? Anyone want to sell me one?

My husband & I have had these phones for about 8 months and are not wild about them. We both find it hard to hear. When I use my bluetooth, it's fine, but otherwise, it's very difficult to hear. Also, no speakerphone. Oh one more thing, it doesn't ring loud enough!! **Um, maybe I need to get my ears checked!! ha.

I have had my phone for 9 months an it has been dropped on concrete a few times. Still worked good after that. I like the fact that its easy to hear the other person on the other end. Although today I turned it off an wiped it with a paper towel an when I turned it back on all i could get was a white screen. The company is sending a replacement. I only hope I have all my info saved correctly.

I've had the phone about 6 months and it all the sudden just stopped working. I pulled it out of my pocket to call someone and it wouldn't turn on anymore.

its started as a really good phone... after that it all went downhill from there. Started to turn off and some problems with turning it on. screen sometimes gets blank

i got this phone just over a year ago and about 6 months after i got it the screen went blank/white (for no reason) and they had to fix it. it just happened again yesterday but it's not under warranty anymore so i guess that's goodbye to my phone :-| it was good while it worked though!

This is one of the worst phones I've ever dealt with. People call call me and get a busy signal...not even sent to my vm! I've received a "corrupt" text message. I've never in all the time I've had a cell phone even heard of a corrupt text message until this phone. I will be staying away from this one forever! Why is it so hard to find a decent, working phone?

Ummm ive had this phone for i think 4 months now. I have dropped it on concrete multiple times and other things it has yet to even scratch . . . i dont know what you people are doing to your phones mine is doing perfectly fine.

I am on my third phone since September and all of them have been terrible. the ringer fried on one and the reception has been terrible on all. Every time I have taken the phones back, centennial wants to replace my phone with same piece of crap i have already had 3 times. My suggestion to any one thinking about buying this phone is DO NOT!!!!!!!!!!!
