the latest firmware doesnt do anything. no full screen while video playback, i think keypad lock in clamshell is not necessary.
major problem with this phone is Low speaker, u cant hear in traffic.( hope next update will be fixed).
mp3,video playback is excellent, even FM is gud. cam quality is average.

@anna
You'll have to use a data cable.
@real random man
For durability, I'd suggest to get a bar phone, as all flip phones have the risk of breaking. This phone has a fairly durable flip, but I'd suggest something else without moving parts, maybe the K750 or if you want a flip phone, the W710.

Rajeev, congrats on getting a new handset :) Could you just elaborate on the following points (since u have latest firmware)
1) Is Keypad locking available?
2) Does the LCD (main screen) light go off when you are in middle of a call?
3) Any improvement in ringtone volume?
4) External display shows the frequency/channel name of FM radio station?
5) If u click snaps from camera, are you able to see them fullscreen?

Has anyone here updated their handset with the lastest firmware? Just want to know whether is there any way to
1) Display the name / frequency of any FM tuned channel on the external display
2) How to increase the ringtone volume, currently I have it at level 8 but still the voice is soft.
Any idea guys??

Hi Rajeev,
The external screen should display the network strength,battery status,clock etc when it is active, ie when you CLOSE the flip the external screen becomes active with the above mentioned details for about 30 secs. With the flip OPEN nothing would be displayed on the external display, it would just be blank with the bluish-violet light. Also if you have enabled standby-clock, then in standby the clock would be shown in inverted mode.

Okay, I got a quick question. Is it just me
or does the battery time suck. I don't think I had my phone for a month yet and my battery life is really low! I don't get it, please let me know if anyone has this issue!
