can som one help me how can i lock the phone i dont wanna anybody to look at the pics and stuff
but the phone keeps asking me about the phone lock code the old code but i dont have any old phone lock

hey
i have this phone and its great maybeee it hasnt musch features and stuff but i like it its soo lite and small and cool ;p
but plz any one who can answer me
i downloaded some themes and they saved atomaticly in the phone am thinking about deleting some of the themes that i dont want or doesnt work how can i delet the themes from my pphone ?

for me, choosing between the Z550i & K750i came down to 2 main things:
1) camera quality (don't use mine that much)
2) form factor (i wanted clamshell)
so here's my summary:
z550: way better screen quality, larger buttons but they aren't raised (so spacious but takes a bit to get used to wen typing), camera quality not as great compared to K750 (obviously), loudspeaker not that loud (i found mainly due to it's location on the back of the phone - gets muffled coz it lies flat against the surface), really great design aesthetic, battery life not terribly great, software is similar (actually with a few slight improvements over k750).
i do miss the joystick (made navigation a helluva lot faster) but the frustration of it breaking after less than a year sux (especially since everything else on my k750 is fine)...
bottom line - a great phone if u want bang 4 ur buck...i hardly used my phone camera after awhile so it's no biggie for me & i really wanted a clamshell that didn't suck... so the Z550 is a perfect substitute for me.
but that's just my opinion - it's pretty much wat u want from a phone coz both are awesome! ;p

Can anyone who owns it answer this question ... is it possible to set the phone up so that you are notified of a new unread text message every few minutes?
My Samsung D600 does this and it's a really good feature, otherwise if you miss the short vibration alert you might not realise you have a text message for many hours!

Other than the usual problem listed in the earlier columns,
Price of (Z550+ Memory Micro) = Price of K750 (More features)
So why Z550?

I Agree, my joystick broke on k750i too. For a minimal amount upfront I got this one. 1st one was DOA cause the external screen was not working, but the new one is a great little simple fone, what more do you need.

i was kinda forced to bcoz after a year and a bit with my k750i - the joystick died on me.
so the Z550i is a great (& cheap) replacement (despite the crapper camera!) ;p

The downside of this phone is its keypad; too difficult to send a quick SMS.

Can I listen to music keeping the flap of the phone closed ( unlike V3i Razr). Does package contain external memory? Is it louder than 6233? Whats the approx price in Indian market? Thanks!

A very good fone.I just bot one .It looks awesom....the only problem is FM quality...its not upto the mark..

Hi,
Are you able to see the select & More button when you got to the Internet settings?
For the keys are working but these buttons doesn't show up in the display

i just got the phone yesterday, and i like the phone a lot. the only bad thing i can think about is the buttons are a little too small.

nice phone indeed , just hav 1 last week ,but anyone knows how to disable the security for some java apps bcause it always prompt "allow application to read user data " and "allow application to write user data"..it appears many times.."

Problems in Z550
1.in the xternal screen ,if the incoming number is new,it keeps rolling and you have to wait another 4 second for readign the number when the phone is ringing
2.Memory card too costly
3.Battery life is very average
4.For me, too many missed calls due to the quality of the speaker in a average noisy environment
5.Camera picture quality is very average
6.Voice recorder is average
7.general SE issue,when you see a missed call or received call,the number shows as 2 part .So too difficult to read.It's 2 line display for each numbe and part of number on one line and date are shown and in the next instant rest of the number is shown.and these images keeps toggling
