I have had two of the same phone within 2 months and both times the battery went completely dead and now wont hold a charge even to turn it on. This is a terrible phone. Only buy this if you want to get ripped off. F-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

cghd, 13 Jan 2009is there memory card free with this mobile???hey, am an SE maniac too. Ive had all SE's from my first phone to my last phone " W710". However the motherboard cracked recently and i had to put it back in my drawer where my other SE phones lie. So anyways, am all up for a new sony ericsson but am kinda dead set on a flip phone. I really want to buy another W710

Hi to all , i m using this phone for a month now, its loud , louder than my previous nokia 6300 only two problems , firstly the gesture control feature is not working anymore although it s on.Also when somebody calls it flashes only once and then I dont see any more flashes when lets say missing a call.
Finally the battery life is not 360 hours it s supposed to be.It seems it getting empty after some use like sending messages or playing an mp3.This is why I m not using the mp3 player or the radio.
Hope it doesnt freeze , my friend has a sony ericsson as well and told me that it after 5 months of use it cannot be switched on and when it does it keeps on freezing while trying the menu.Its a simple and decent phone I would say.

im contemplating on getting this phone. but the thing is im so used to using my conventional nokia phones and im afraid the different messaging keys (bottom 3) in SE will annoy me.
