dudes i just have recieved this phone after having a lg 8120 they replaced my phone no problems at all but what i need to know if this phone will accept a prepaid sim card?
does any one know????

The reason it doesnt have anxHTML/HTML browser is £££.
There is no phone at the moment in circulation that offers both a HTML browser at UMTS speeds. Someone came up with a crack for the old Motorola one on 3, but it got stopped when trying to log onto the network.
The possibilities on browsing any webpage at UMTS speeds are endless. There needs to be some way for the Network/service operators to earn ££ from this.
As far as i am aware, T-Mobile are to launch the MDA Compact, or some derivative of it which will run on UMTS. Funny, seen as their UMTS network has not yet been released to the world yet!!!

Hey all, i think this phone is great however there is one major downfall. The phone only supports WAP and HTTP, but does not support a xhtml browser, which i believe permits you from visting particular websites. This suxs to know that this lower end nokia phones can surf particular websites where our 3G Handset can not support. So my question can anyone help me in finding a site to download a xHTML browser for this handset or even a site which we can download browser. I would be most appericative if anyone oculd please help me! Does anyone else face these limitations when viewing websites????

hi simone, the dude from 3 is crap, you can use a 2G simcard. I am currently using the phone in fiji Islands on a 2G network connected to Vodafone Fiji. I belive only if the phone was bought in Japan then you would have trouble using it, due to the fact that they operate with USIM sim cards, which are basically an upgraded sim card. Hope this helps.

It seems that the SonyEricsson site has a problem with displaying the specs. I checked the difference between their S series and they were all the same.

Crysalis -go to sonyericsson.co.uk and use the 'compare' feature. Most of there current/pending models have virtually the same spec.

Hello, just wondering if anyone has tried a 2G sim card in it? I was told by the man at 3, that there is no option to select a 2G sim card, which upset me, cause now I have to wait till the end of the year for Vodafone to bring out 3G in Australia.
But maybe the 3 guy lied to me to try and get me to swap to 3 to get the phone?

sexy phone, had it for over a month, love it~
in response, the mp3 quality isn't bad, although the speakers can be a bit louder...picture quality is acceptable, obviously not as good as the s7XX...but, itz vvery good alrdy, considerin it isn't a phone made to take pics like the S7XX are~ =)

i jus wanted to ask the ppl who already have this phone....hows the mp3 quality...and how r the photos taken by this phone in comparison to s700/s710 or other good camera phones..(i said s700 cuz it also has a 1.3 mp camera).

Just got my Z800 from Allphones and got to say it leaves the LG's for dead. Camera/ Video are great and at least this has bluetooth. Definately one of the best phones i have ever owned

Well first of all
The battery lasted with me 3 full days including the mp3 usage and normal phone usage and bluetooth also, cause i transfer files a lot.. So three Days are excellent for a 3g phone.. The reception is weak, only when you look at it sometimes, But, and again BBUTTTT when you use it you dont feel the reception is weak.. It´s Everything i wished for, except the 3 logo on it which i hate....
