My Z800 is working pretty well, i've been using this phone for 7 months already, i don't have any problems regarding with the signal & i can still recieved calls & text msgs even if my phone is closed.
i really like this phone alot!
cause it provides me all the things that i need on a mobile handset!

jayve, 30 Aug 2007I'm going to buy this phone next week i need some advise. b... morethere are no major difference between the v800 and the z800. they have both the same specs except that the vodafone version has its restrictions on playing music like they have to put drm protection on their music before they can play it on v800. anyway, v800 can be modified so it works like z800. hope it helps you.

Liisha, 17 Jul 2008to me its not good for texting ... after 3 years =]its just amzing with its slidecutters. u may not hav properly handled it for 3 years or so

I found the signal loose when you close the phone is because the white wire that connects top half to the bottom half is loose.
If you open the upper part of the phone you will notice it
press it on and put a little tap on it
Just make sure you dont pinch it when you put it together otherwise its completely done

it very true that when closed you have no signal but why,sony ericson? cuz am now using the same type and ecountring such problem, i very trust sony ericson but they dissapointed me in this one and now when my friends ,fammily and even my girls want to get contact to me they can't because i can't be going around holding my phone openly, and am loosing my friend contact, but it was expensive too that i can't even raise another money for another cell phone, this is my mail address[wastyhenry@yahoo.com] i would like to explain to anyone, plese sony ericson isn't there anything you can do about this, like we bring it for exchange or something like that,cuase it's actually killing us and also reducing you market income,cause anyone having this type of phone would't make a good coment about my faviourat company[SONY ERICSON] .

it's sucky. it's large as hell. the battery's life sucks. its camera sucks. the keypads suck. but it does say Vodafone in front. so if you wanna buy brands, then go ahead.

i had this phone.
it was crap.
shit camera.
never ever charge when plug in. have to fiddle with the connections.
bad resolutions. shit speakers.
my only good point about it was the ultra bright led lights.
which saved my life. when i got lost in the woods. thank you SE.

i have an SE Z800, this is my 1st time of posting a comment here. i would like to know if there is any difference with Z800 and the Z800i? my phone is ok but there's no signal i can get when i close it. is it ok or something wrong with it?
