vasi, 19 Jul 2010I need somebody to help me again. Today I bought a transcen... moreI own a hazel, as its memory card is upgradeable up to 16gb like zylo. I also put a 8gb micro SDHC (Toshiba) into the slot and tried what you have done to store more than 4gb files of mp3 and m4a together in one folder inside the music folder. Now total in music folder is 5.2gb
My used memory now is about 6045 mb and the phone is still working properly, the media read all the music files 100% (1,466 songs) and performance is still remain the same as before.
1.pls check with your pc or laptop are those files really gone from the card, if then maybe your phone has problem with its firmware
2. if the files are still there, try to place those song files into several separated folders

Display Brightness under sunlight sucks, the phone is barely audible with speaker phone, no GPS..
The 2.6 display is barely helpful with 320x240 and 256K color, booked for Nokia C5 but bought this and got disappointed..
(Airtel Sim wasn't recognized in C5 seems IMEI of that phn isn't registered in their servers..)
This Shitty slow compared to C5, Useless audio quality with out loudness.
Damn you Sony.
Oh yeah the cam works good in sunlight but helps in darkness..
Damn C5 has way value than this.
And theres fucking smudging problem all over the phone.

I need somebody to help me again. Today I bought a transcend micro SDHC 8gb memory card. I loaded about 4 gb of songs. when i entered the media it updates only upto 23 per cent. Also initially the file manager showed the contents from the memory card. But within a few seconds the memory card page in file manager shows "empty folder".please help. Is my phone is not capable of such huge memory or is the memory card not compatible.

I bought this phone today and trust me its more than what we are paying for it.... Its awesome... it's have been more better if we'd get the sony ericsson's ear plug ear phones.. sound quality very clear...
and the display is too good..
In all Sony Ericsson has finally provided its customers the best phone at a reasonable price of Rs 7850 only with a free 2GB memory card. I'm using it with a 4GB one and its working fine....Xylo Rocks..

It's sound quality with headphone really good.
Large screen.
Value for money.
Camera quality is also good.

asp, 18 Jul 2010yes silver color is available in india. another thing i no... moreto improve battery performance, charge the phone often at the first few days. the battery will last longer if you charge it frequently. even when it still has 70 percent of capacity, just plug the charger, you will see the battery will performs better in the next few days

yes silver color is available in india.
another thing i noticed in walkman using manual equilizer with tweaking some settings i got a bit loud sound than pre-built ones.
not perfect but not that much issue of sunlight legibility as i can see the screen when im outside.
recharged the battery full night,usage approxmimation : played songs for 30min in headset, 15+min on speaker,played video for 15+min, 20+min talking,switched on blutooth for 25+min to tranfer files,etc and battery stands now at 70% charge.that means on full rechargebackup will be Maybe 1.5 to 2 days on normal use.
not tested internet yet.

hey friends I bought this phone yesterday. Its awesome for its price. The only issue is the loudness of the sound is slightly low both in speakers and headphone. everything else is perfect. I use 8gb card and theres no lag.camera is on par with other 3.2 mp cams. though the sound is low the quality is good. the display is stunning. I compared it with my friends Hazel(1.6 million colors)and i can hardly find any difference.
But i have a problem in installing themes. I downloaded several themes from zedge, mobile9 and lasyk but none was installed, it says the themes are not compatible and cannot be set. Please help. Is it that themes other than the ones which came with the phone cannot be installed. or is it my phone's defect. please help. Am thinking of sending it to the service station for this themes problem.

yes it has a manual equalizer.and video at 320x240 encoded with h264 codec plays fine no lag whatsoever.
