It's unfortunate but most people (99%) will not be able to tell the difference between a 320kbps .mp3 file and a .flac file (aroung 1000kbps). Today's generation of people are listening to their iPod / mp3s at too high a volume and their hearing is too damaged to hear the higher highs and the lower lows.
I'm lucky enough to be within the 1% who can tell the difference. But to be able to hear it, you do need high-end headphones. Pioneer and Sony do have some good studio headphones for about US$300, and having a MDR-V900HD myself, those are excellent for listening to .flac to their full glory.
I have a feeling that some people here will get this phone, and waste some more money on a studio headset, to in the end hear no difference in sound quality; only to come back later and blame the company or someone else saying the phone is no good at .flac.
I say to people now; don't bother getting .flac capable devices unless you really are a true audiophile. Most wannabes will be disappointed since they won't be able to tell the difference.

try to compare the flac sound with mp3 and you'll never coming back...,it's CD quality,...even a 3.5 stereo jack is missing,you won;t be dissapointed,...use with SE accesories,like MBR 100,MDS 70-SUCH AN EXPERIENCE,Oh my,...it awesome!

I am waiting Sony Ericsson Walkman, model candy bar with stereo speakers and have jack 3.5 mm, camera like superb K800i 3.2mp,color titanium, display 2.4 inch and no touch screen.

buy c510 instead of this ,
c510 is cheap, lightweight and has better camera than this ..............

check W995-8.1MP wifi,2009 phone
but this zylo 2MP only and no wifi
technology must get better every time new phone is created
cutomers r looking forward to much high tech devices.

dude it will be released in Europe in July or august at an price of 110euro convert it to INR and it will cost u around 7000 as the competition increasing se has bring their phone price down it wont cost u more than 7500 after vat etc etc

rohan, 31 May 2010about 25 hours......Isn't it too much!!!!!25 hours in fine....saw its video on youtube, the walkman player themes are really cool.
