Tanmay, 03 Feb 2011Since no one replied to my previous post, i'm posting again... moreWell the reason why your phone is appearing shaky is because zylo doesnt have a high end camera. You could try putting it up against a flat surface and click a random image just to check if it still appears shaky. I am not so sure about zylo since I havent used it, but in some sony ericsson phones theres this option called "image stability" or "image stabilizer" or something around those lines. If zylo has it, you can access it from the options in your camera and try switching it on. That could help in making the image less shaky. Or the best option to do, is to keep the timer on and hold the camera still after yu have clicked the camera button. Because sometimes the camera takes the image instantly when yu click. There always is a slight movement when you click the button to take a picture. So give this a try. Hope it works, cheers

The phone is a piece of good work but haven't yet mastered all its features yet. on that front i find it a bit comlicated

Tanmay, 03 Feb 2011Since no one replied to my previous post, i'm posting again... moreI was very surprised with the camera quality of the zylo, it's pretty awesome for a non-autofocus walkman phone camera. To confirm the shakyness problem, try resting the bottom edge of the camera on a stable surface, like a table or something and click a picture. Or use a 10 second self-timer, prop it against something and check out the photo. If it's still shaky, then take it to the service center and have them check it out. You probably have a defective cmos sensor.

but i think the opera mini not ... moreHmm, there's like just one setting in internet profile that matters, and that's the APN. Username and password can be anything, doesn't matter, the phone still connects. I will have a talk with the provider CC and see if they can sort out something from their end.
Most people here are saying that phones manufactured after december are trouble free. Thing is, what i've seen from reports on this forum is that most zylos conk off anywhere from 2 to 6 months after use. So even a Jan phone could work fine till june, so there's no way to be sure really. Try getting a late december or jan piece if possible.

And i hate the conversations option, so i only use it in regular message mode. But still, setting either read report or delivery time in advanced options changes the text sms into an mms.

Tanmay, 03 Feb 2011Since no one replied to my previous post, i'm posting again... morethis similar problem occurs i think universally! try keeping your hand dead still. the pictures do have a tendency to appear smudged and shaken. i doubt its any problem. most probably its the same with a good quality fixed focus camera.

but i think the opera mini not conected problem may be due to the profile change in settings for java .
i experienced same kind of problem in my w200 until i got new internet profile settings from my network provider.
by the way i am going to buy my zylo tommrw.
it is manufactured in october, wil it get flex problem?

And this BS about 'if you don't like it sell it', i bet you kids don't know the value of money, probably bought your phones with your daddy's money.
If you buy a product it is expected to perform. If it doesn't expect complaints. Just because you don't have a problem with your zylo doesn't mean everyone else also isn't. There are people who had problems with the flex strip after 6 months. So if your phone conks later, then you'll be eating your words. Bottom line is, if i have a problem with my phone, i will post it where i feel. It's not your call to tell me not to.
