I don't use internet, all I am concerned abt is messaging, messaging & messaging with large inbox capacity, fair battery performance and good sound.
I believe u answered all my questions, esp. that inbox capacity doubt which was bothering me as u told me it can hold upto 2500 or even more messages without any problem.

mine battery lasts for 2 days

about 1 to 1.5 hrs of calling
but the battery drains a bit faster while using internet
otherwise the battery is really good for list. music, texting msgs,calling
music clarity is really awesome
sony uses clear audio technology in dis ph
its sound is much better than C5
the supplied headfones r good
u can clearly hears the bass effect its mind blowing

If anyone is successfully using opera mini 5.1 on their zylo, can they please share any specific settings, internet or otherwise? Mine just shows a 'unable to connect to the internet' error during the setup phase after installing the app. Built in browser and trackid etc all connect fine.

Nobody was really answering this, I was abt to go for Nokia C5 as it has big capacity say abt 40K or even more, but if u say it can hold upto 2500 messages for sure, I am all game for it.

Are u using this cell?
Also I did not know that we can move inbox smses to memory card, thats something nice to know.

This phone has big internal memory to store thousands of text message not to mention you can manage from message settings to save the incoming messages to memory card.

But to see the zylo perform worse than the t610 is unbelievable.

Julian, 02 Jan 2011While i haven't made a lot of calls since i got the phone, ... morethe fluctuation in the reception bar is a (bad) feature of this phone..its basically over sensitive but the problem you are facing is genuinely geographically based! this phone will rather not let your conversations get affected due to its bar fluctuation..hope it clears out in no time..please update.

Not that the dealer's gonna do anything if i go to him right away, it's direct service center anyway. Maybe there's a burn-in process for phones now lol. Thanks for sharing your experience though.

i really wish to buy this phone.. my requirement is-
1) great signal reception.
2) loud and clear earpiece volume. and call clarity
3) loud and external speaker for ringing tone (as well
listen to music)
4) excellent music player
5) good keypad for fast typing
6) dont mind about wifi (but would be an advantage)
7) dont really mind about camera performance (also
would be an advantage), but prefer gud video
recording
8) dont care about gps (wont use it)
9) dont really like slider actually but its ok
is this the best one for me??

Julian, 02 Jan 2011In my earlier post i mentioned that i've been swapping the ... morei also swap the sim card with my se t250i, but the call was ok in my t250, i also tried it at home and college,just the same.. the problem happened for about 2days .. after that it functioned like normal.. it happened once & ive used my yari for a year.. i also did not know why it happened.. juz wait for about 2@3 days... perhaps you're facing the problem like my yari..

my zylo gives 400-600kbps download speed.im using docomo 3G.i may get increased speed if i use it as moded for pc but i dont knw how to use it as modem for pc.can any1 guide me?ive mac pro.
