Niyaz, 28 Dec 2010Bought Zylo a few months back. Overall I was happy with the... moreIt happened with u bcoz few months ago zylo was coming with flex problem & that's the time u bought it but now all the zylo's r fine.
Give it again to se service centre or u can also ask them to replace ur phone with new one as u have got 2nd major problem within few days.

Bought Zylo a few months back. Overall I was happy with the phone except the really bad camera quality.
Just a couple of days ago the screen started flickering and then it started hanging when I opened the slide. Went to SE service center and they (after 2 days) gave it back today evening. Now the keypad suddenly stopped working. :(

[deleted post]GPRS is very good ,better than nokia 5130. Zylo is giving 30-35 KB/S via tata docomo whereas 5130 was giving 27-30 KB/S (download perfomed via Internet download manager)

Firstly Superb Design, Display is also very good,
No Doubt in Audio of Sony Ericsson Cells, its Brilliant
but in FLAC no phone can compare it - I have never listen this type of clarity
Only One Word "Brilliant"

1)Bass effect is good & sound clarity is out of dis world.
2)Mine is working fine (memory status of my phone(memory card (jst 5 mb left empty out of 2gb)
no hagging problem.
3)slider is good(jst check the date of manufacture if it is september or afterwards thn it is fine).
4)yes there is no prblem in auto rotate.
5)screen clarity of zylo is really stunning even nokia 16 million cant stand in front of zylo.
6) u wll nt face any problem in loading of msgs
even u can store ur msgs in memory card.
7) battery back is average mine lasts for 2 days.

hey guys, as i'm looking forward to buy this phone.. I would like to know..
1)how is the base effect and clarity of zylo with SE plugins?
2)any hanging or slow user interface problems (in case of fully loaded memory card)
3)how is its slider?
4)is auto rotate working perfectly?
5)screen clarity of zylo
6)heavy inbox or contacts loading problem?
7)how's the battery backup?

blaze, 27 Dec 2010i wud say zylo is the best . coz i luv hearing music and zy... morei think it wud be better to take elm or zylo than c510.
not that it is bad or that but c510 supports m2 card . and m2 card has been officially dropped from sonYE phones since q3 of 2009, so in future there might come a situation that m2 cards r no longer available .so it wud be wise to plan now and use a phone with microsd card support.
this situation comes in only if u hav plans to use the same phone for atleatst 5 years or some , coz i dont think such a problem wudnt arise till that period.

nitin, 27 Dec 2010what abt se c510 and se elm......they r also of this range.... morei wud say zylo is the best . coz i luv hearing music and zylo is the only handset i've seen which can deliver music in such superior clarity.
and zylo is unique that among these and several thousand other sets only this can play .flac.
a real treat for audiophiles like me.
i wud recomend u to decide on u r use. if u giv priority 4 music go for zylo. if u giv priority 4 snaps go for cybershot

just telling the truth bro, i knw what smartphones are, i used one 7610 for several years it did multitasking and was great for that . but the problem is these use symbian60 os's it does support alot of softwares and a large n.o of viruses. my 7610 actd as a hub for viruses without me knowing it, my phone sends data via bluetooth to other devices even when bluetooth was off. the only os's that effectively repelled such virus attacks from my symbian 7610 were sony's.
it is true zylo is a java oriented set but u know, it supports multi tasking too. its a properitary os speciality by sonyericsson usually java phones didnt support multitasking.that is where zylo and sony excels. it is a java oriented , repels mobile viruses at the same time supports multitasking too.
about the screensize thing,
i didnt mean to say it got d best display in terms of color and all but that it is the biggest display in a handset under 10k. oh and c5 isnt better in res , coz both zylo and c5 has 240x320 and 16m colors. i was saying zylo stands out for better display than c5 owing to matching screen res and colors but an advantage due to biger screen.
u said c5's sound increasd through update,
guess wat, sony launchd new version for zylo too which effectively increases zylo's sound too.
and does c5 play .flac format (superb clarity difference through headSET), plays 1080p hd mp4 , got autorotate, got music dedicated keys, got shutter key, got shake control, got track id...?
NO.....
it doesnt but zylo does.and multitask like a smartphone too.
which means zylo is the winner.
which means ZYLO BEATS C5.

LUCKY, 26 Dec 2010which type of premium handset will be perfect to experience... more.flac showed awesome clarity when compared with .mp3 through headset.
but the difference is almost unnoticed through speaker playback.
i recomend the bass reflex headset (hpm-64)or the noise cancelling headset (hpm-88) if u want unmatched music clarity
