There are plenty of included connectivity options, including a full SD card slot, USB and even HDMI via a dongle. There's also support for DLNA casting, and there's even an infrared sensor for remote control needs.
The Xperia Tablet S will hit stores this September.
Sony VAIO Duo 11 hands-on
Sony also unveiled a new hybrid ultrabook, the VAIO Duo 11. For all intents and purposes, the Duo 11 is a tablet which doubles as an ultrabook. The slide-out keyboard is fully backlit, and is accompanied by an 11.6" FullHD display, powered by an Intel Core i7 processor.
When closed, the device comes in at just 18 mm thick. It weighs in at 1.3 kg and the construction is solid, which means the device feels sturdy but not heavy. There are also dual 2 MP cameras on the front and back, as well as NFC connectivity.
The VAIO Duo 11 is set to be released in October, after Windows 8 goes official.
