Sony infographic brags about its mobile innovations, records and world firsts

Sony's smartphone business is anything but a beacon of hope and huge sales and profitability. Still, the company is in it for the long haul and doesn't plan on exiting this market, even if it is retreating from certain areas. While its sales numbers might not be great, Sony wants to remain relevant, and its latest effort to do that is an infographic.

This was shared today on the official blog of its mobile arm, and it's all about the various innovations, records, and world firsts that can be attributed to its past in the mobile business. From the first 4K display in a smartphone (the Xperia Z5 Premium), to the world's first 4K HDR OLED panel in a smartphone (Xperia 1), it's all covered. Even the SmartWatch 3 gets a mention - remember when Sony used to make smartwatches?

Anyway, it's good to know that Sony hasn't forgotten its past. Hopefully its future, at least when it comes to mobile, will see it be even more successful. Here's the infographic in full:

Lol Sony, they should release infographic about most gimmicky festures and 4k screen will take half of the list. I mean what do you get from 4k screen on tiny 5to 6 inch display? Answer is nothing you barely see any difference from 1080p to 4k on suc...
