Sony Lavender rumored in works with 64-bit MediaTek SoC

Sony is about to introduce yet another mid-range smartphone with interesting set of specifications. The serial leaker upleaks has shared details of an upcoming device codenamed Sony Lavender.

Bearing the model number E5503, the Sony Lavender is not to be confused with the Sony Cosmos with model number E5306. The new Lavender dubbed smartphone will feature a full 1080p resolution display.

Lavender will be powered by the 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6752 mobile chipset that will also offer support for 4G LTE networks. By default, it will run Android 5.x Lollipop wrapped in Sony’s own UI.
