Have my Xperia 10iv since 2022, it's on Android 14 now and I'm using it intensively preferring it over an IPhone 12 which - in my use case - only has a better camera and camera-software.
The Xperia's battery life is outstanding, Android and apps run snappy enough for me. The phone talks LDAC high-resolution wireless audio with my gadgets and stereo and also does AAC HD because Sony is one of the patent holders next to Apple, Fraunhofer and Nokia (NB the original Nokia, *not* HMD Global!). If the camera gets improved (primary CMOS) and the two built-in speakers get to play stereo (forward facing) I'd be in the market for a Sony Xperia 10vi.

    Have used this phone for 6 months. Battery is fantastic.
    Microphone is crap...for example, in Whatsapp video call, other party can hardly hear me.
    So all in all, if battery is primary for You, this is great option.

Xperia user here since 2003 now i am using Xz2. 4 gb ram only and faster than s20 and 12 pro max. Battery life 2 days heavy use. Your call.

              The torch is saying camera app open so torch feature greyed out and can't use.

              The camera app is closed so I can't fathom why it says still open?

              Anyone found a fix yet?

                Android 14 have done, amazing features make your app more expressive and personal with predictive back, per-app languages, grammatical inflection, and more.
                I fond of my Sony Xperia 10 iv, I have used it for 1,8 year... There isn't any problem...

                            Just Got Android 14 update. Don't know why i still wait these. Changes are minor, even opened changelog to look whats new....

                                  since getting the latest update (65.1.A.5.113) on 3 dec until now, most of the camera issues seemed to be fixed... 👍

                                    For all of you that still have an issue with the latest update just do a factory reset and it should be fixed

                                      just received updates (65.1.A.5.88) that brings google's security patch to Aug version... sony has been very good so far for updating the device every 3 months... 👍

                                      now all i'm only asking for is at least 3 versions of Android upgrades instead of 2 that will really kick some ass eh... 😂

                                        Found some bugs:
                                        * Camera app freezes & closes after taking multiple pictures.
                                        * Torch button gets disabled and shows message "Camera in use" although camera is off
