In the low light, there's parts of the picture that look better with the 1 ii in my opinion. And I say that still knowing that I want and will get the 1 iii. Maybe the processing will be improved relative to the ii. And I know that the specs of 12mb will have many people turned off enough to not even consider the phone, regardless of what the realities may be.

But yeah similar comparison discussion came up back when XZ Premium and people were arguing about XZ Premium being more Noisy than its competitors.
Now coming to your comparison of SONY XPERIA 1 II to SAMSUNG Galaxy S21 Ultra. As the S21 Ultra pic you can clearly see the Noise Grain in the middle and distortion at the corners. And the Image itself is washed out. Not tested on the equal grounds as the elevation was not on par either. But can't hold them responsible either as they tested them at completely different times. But yeah as I said S21 Ultra is lot Noisy compared to XPERIA 1 II which is smooth throughout the pic and is not distorted on the corners. Colors are also washed out as well as blown up with saturation on S21 Ultra.

If I remember correctly your main problem was the 60hz refresh rate. That has been solved now, so what is your reasoning this time around?. And why do you come to the sony comments year after year to complain, and criticize a phone you have no intention of buying?

And no I'm not a "SAMSUNG Guy" whatever that means. The only reason I used the S21 Ultra for comparison is because it was the first thing that came to mind when I thought of 108MP sensors. And no I literally showed you, there isn't more noise grain on the S21 Ultra. You see an objective comparison and you still fail to realize that.
(2) What statement am I not sticking with? What you're trying to argue still makes zero sense.
(3) I still don't know what you're talking about when referring to my statement, but the fact that you aren't changing your statement is your issue. You're not changing the whole "moRe mEgAPiXeL MoRe NoiSe" nonsense when it's literally not true. I just disproved that.

Because even though the image was sharp it was also lot noisy same goes for S21 Ultra or even iPhone 12 Pro. So what SONY did is to go with sensor with larger pixel size which takes in more light to produce accurate and smooth image with no noise grain. So when you look at images from XPERIA 1 II it is much smooth and noise free compared to XZ Premium or S21 Ultra or iPhone 12 Pro. Specially in Low light.

It's one thing to go into the pages in hopes that they made better specs but to go in and want Sony to wind up like LG is super petty...

The low megapixel camera does seem like a bit of downgrade in terms of detail. My XZ Premium at 19MP captures better details in daylight, close to the 108 MP mode on the S21 Ultra.

With LG quitting the phone business I guess I have to shift to Sony... they are among the very few makers that actually have a flagship phone with most recent soc's and 3.5 jack and micro sd card. But they are weirdly expensive :(
