good features, good phone. Sony always have good hardware.
Bad phone name. Very confusing. Is it xperia 1, or xperia VII or which one is it? both? xperia 1 7? very very bad phone model name. Sony need to smoke some drugs to become more creative.
Oh yeah and too expensive by $1000. Phone shouldn't be more than $500

I bought one, which up until a couple of days ago, was working quite well. It was snappy, had great connectivity, and was pleased with it's overall performance. Unfortunately, it bricked itself for absolutely no reason. It wasn't dropped, abused or anything of the sort. It was wireless charged regularly the evening before using Sony's routines for battery longevity. Simply went to pick it up from the desk and...nothing. Tried charging, both USB and wireless, went through Sony's website to try to do a software recovery but nothing - not even a buzz to indicate that power was there. Took it into where I sold it and they told me it was the 3rd device they've had problems with for something out just a month or so ago. We'll see where it goes from here, but it certainly sounds like they've got a hardware problem.

Everything's perfect except the display size and resolution. 3,5 jack, high res audio codecs, esim support, sd card support all in one makes it a top choice for me.

Samsung force people, in a very stupid way, to buy their earphones. Which is totally nonsense. But this is far beyond of understanding for some small minded fanbois.

I mean, this Sony flagship? It’s absurdly overpriced. You can get a second-hand S25 Ultra for way less than what it goes for in stores.
Let’s be real—I seriously doubt you even had the S25 Ultra to begin with, but sure, let’s say you "sold" it to buy this new Xperia. Even if that’s true (big if), it’s still pretty hilarious because you probably ended up paying more for a less capable device.
But hey, at least you got that SD card slot and the legendary 3.5mm jack, right? 😂 Priorities!
