Just a rebranded 1 vi. Sony really needs to make their phones more exciting. 1080p for a flagship 🤣🤣 even entry level phones come with 1080p.2k display would have been a better deal. I still wonder why there are no AI features or Sony will include that in 2032 😂. I still appreciate the fact that there's a 3.5mm jack and micro sd slot,but I doubt those are enough selling points, they shouldn't have released this phone, it's just a rebranded version of it's predecessor . No 8k video recording till now.

Display is now almost as big comapred to dimensions of phone to be aceptable. Little more trough 2 more generations and i will be realy happy to get one.
To sit very nice with my alpha 6700. Also in 2 gen cameras will be almost as good as micrk 4/3 so when i have only phone with me it will be worty substitude for my 6700.
Also screen if remains 4k bravia will be very nice monitor for it. As now im using s22ultra for thst job.
Also zoom camera is now very good but sensor is tiny.
They need to pack at least 50-100% bigger sensor in that for me to consider it compared to zoom cameras like vivo and oppo or xiaomi. But what realy sells it for me is 3.5mm jack as im audiofile. So lets say 8 or 9 will be mine. This one is almost perfect but almost is not good enough. Same like a6600 was not and then a6700 come out and i was stunned how good it realy is. So lets wait a generation or 2. Maybe even to go for that 2nm would be worth the wait. And to implement new chinese batteries as that can boost it to 6000mah. And than it will realy be 2 day battery life phone. :P More than enough said cya.

You wont be able to see pixels at 400 ppi

except it cramming more pixels
do ppi-density matter to most people ?
imo LTPO worth than higher ppi for better energy efficiency = longer battery-life
i bet sony can go with non LTPO high ppi display if they want, it would be much worse for it price

Brilliant, 14 May 2025BrilliantI love the clean android software, the display is vibrant and clear along with a great camera, the ability to increase storage with SD card and the physical headphone socket are great for flexibility.
Great phone, superb sound - playing hi res audio files. Very good battery life. Love that can adjust white balance and colour of screen and that it is much brighter than previous Xperias. Love that still has microsd - so can hold music etc and has head phone jack still. Also really like the macro lens and general natural photographs. Only gripe is at first I was unsure about screen resolution (I was coming from 5k xperia pro-i). I am also unsure of length and speed of updates that will be available
