Sony Xperia 1 VII CAD renders surface
The Sony Xperia 1 VII was featured in a couple of leaks already, and if the reports are correct, we can expect the device to arrive sometime in May. Now XpertPick in collaboration with OnLeaks published high-quality, rumor-based CAD renders, fully revealing the design.
As you can see, there are no dramatic changes to the body. In fact, the Xperia 1 VII looks nearly identical to its predecessor. We see the familiar patterned glass back, flat side frame, flat front, the same camera bump design and the usual button arrangement on the right side. Nothing out of the ordinary as far as Sony phones go.
The leak includes dimensions as well. They suggest the new device will be ever so slightly wider and thicker, measuring 161.9 x 74.5 x 8.5mm. We hope that the small size increase is due to a larger battery, because the screen is reportedly the same - 6.5". This means that the screen will have slightly thicker bezels than before.
Per previous rumors the handset will debut in May with a price tag of around $1,399.
