Purchased this phone in December 2013 and its still working smooth as of now in Feb 2022. I Had some initial regrets because of no proper android updates. It was struck at android 4.2.2 even today. But boy oh boy, this phone is almost invincible to most kind of physical stress. Dropped countless times from my pocket, dropped down even from a running two wheeler, forgot and left in rain for almost 15 minutes and yet working like a charm. Yes the phone has many major issues from the begining like very less internal storage, no software updates, front VGA camera. But I got adjusted and got used to them. Right now I use my phone for phone calls, SMS, whatsapp, notes, alarm, listening to music (Xperia music player is the best no doubt in it, even after all these years it still produce crystal clear music provided with a quality earphones). The greatest feature of this phone is its 8MP camera still gives best photos even in 2022. I took many macroshots even it shot ants, grass flowers and even pimples on my face with some much quality and believe me picture quality is way better than redmi's 12 MP camera I did it in 2018). My phone rarely hangs I don't even remember the last time when it got hanged. in 2013-14 times I installed many games like asphalt, subway surfers, temple run etc and used it rigourously like a gaming mobile and as result it gets heated quickly. Later I realised this phone is meant only casual usage so from the last 5 years haven't installed and played any games.
I rooted it after 1 year and uninstalled some bloatware and got even more space.
I'm planning to use this untill December 2023 as it will become 10 years from its purchase date and let the mobile phone legend will rest after a decade usage.

Does Anyone here knows how to Upgrade sony xperia C2305 android to version 8.0 up... 4.2.4 version does not work today in 2021...

It's an awesome mobile..
Still I'm using that legend....
At 2013, it's really look amazing on its features, but now many of us mentioning that it's having some bad features... It clearly informs that, our usage has been increased...
I'm willing Sony to provide such a fabulous mobiles...

Too few memory and too low android version. A wechat app could fill up almost all of it's memory.
I used to have 2 but died when updating them to 4.4 kitkat. The latest version of youtube that can run on 4.2.2 is older than the latest that can start properly. Kitkat is the last usable android version.
These are the 2 reasons that it is unusable.

my xperia c is switched off due to power (on/off) button is broken. Its fully switched off for more than 2 years. I am not getting any repair service center to replace new power button. means not getting power button part in the market. hence cannot turn it on. please suggest solution

Simple android phone and easy to instal twrp and root for eliminated app not used. Usb otg good and useble for read old flashdisk 1gb.

i also do not have any contacts on my phone. ie i cant make any calls.
all other features on the phone is working.
