Very disappointed in this phone.Sony is a trusted brand bt this just seems a "last ditch try to meet a lower end target market."had phone for abt 4 months now and nothing bt issues.2nd day I had it.. It froze and switched itself off.no battery to remove so rebooting was a challenge until someone showed me where reboot button was.cameras not great quality... Not Wat I would expect from Sony.prob with phone switching itself off continued abt 2 wks after initial incident and has progressively gotten worse..Basically have to reboot hourly. Total waste of time energy and money
...so it's bk to good old blackberry until I get this bk from service provider for repairs/software upgrade... Whatever they assume the problem is.several other people have had similar complaints...check out you tube/Google.

Whatever u said, it happens in any smartph often in starting. U have to update software via internet or Wi-Fi. I updated my Sony Xperia E4 & now I m enjoying it to move apps in external SD card & its not disappear after restarting.

Battery drains after 3hr from the time of charging........... Poor camera....... Apps gone after moved into sd card(after restarting).... Totally waste for......12.8k...it only worths 4 to 5k

try this!!
>move some of your apps to sd card.
>turn off phone,remove the sd card form phone.
>re insert sd card and turn on phone.
>you will not see the icons of those apps anymore,you can see it installed in app manager but you will not find the icons under apps to put it back.

E4, 23 Dec 2015your right. that is what i am experiencing too. You can't... moreU both r wrong or may b troll, u both r talking nonsense. It means that none any other person using Sony Xperia E4. I m using it from last 2 month & not facing any type of issue with my E4. Neither apps moving sd problem (restarting also) nor any Wi-Fi. Also the possibility to facing issue of u that u may not handle very well the E4. Kindly update ur E4 with latest software which is available & I think everything will b fine. Its fantastic smartph beautiful piece in the name of Sony under 8.5K & I think that avery1 should go for it with closed eyes. Never regret.

my advice dont buy this phone as you gonna face this problem
1 when you move your apps to sd card it will be shown on your menu and start screen but once you restart or shut down the phone and on again the apps on sd card will disappear from your menu and start up screen but the apps is still on the sd card.
2 the wifi is a problem too . when connected to wifi after a while like an hour sometimes or sometimes 3hr later your internet on the phone will have no connections and when you try to reconnect it will fail and the only way is to restart your phone . and the same problem will happen again and you have to restart your phone again to connect to the wifi
