Sony Xperia E5 is available at Vodafone UK for £100 on Pay as you go

Sony announced the Xperia E5 in May, and today the affordable smartphone has become available at Vodafone UK. You can purchase one online for just £100 on Pay as you go.

Alternatively, you can choose to sign a two-year contract with the operator. In this case you can receive the Xperia E5 for free with plans starting at £16 per month. That most basic option will only give you 250 minutes, unlimited texts, and 250MB of 4G data.

Then again, you have plenty of other options to pick from. The most expensive plan costs £48 per month and comes with unlimited minutes and texts (both in the UK and while roaming), 30GB of UK data, and 4GB of roaming data. This also includes subscriptions to Spotify Premium, Now TV, and Sky Sports Mobile TV.

The Sony Xperia E5 has a 5-inch 720p touchscreen, a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash, a 5 MP selfie snapper, the MediaTek MT6735 chipset (with a 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU), 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, and a 2,700 mAh battery. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
