cass, 10 Jun 2015Worst phone ever, mine orginally started having battery iss... moreI thought we be forever but this phone left be in the storm, it became a overglorified FM radio when my microphone stopped working and I sent it back to where they fixed the microphone but the battery was still so bad than the phone keeps restarting itself the phone keeps freezing crashing please do not waste your time with sony please do not waste your time with sony unless you want a overglorified touch screen FM radio that you need headphones in the 3.5mm jack for but yeah please do not waste time with sony i went to get Nokia 1 android and Huawei Ascend 7 with a iPod Touch 6G instead

Dont belame sony. I have been using sony since 2005. Till now no problem at all. If u want to have a better performance result use Sony xperia M2, M4, M5, T2. For normal use Ion is good. And battery will discharge quickly because of social media. Remember when this phone came to market no whatsapp is there. And people use pc for social networking and watching video.
By the way your using absolute model in new era. Go and grab one of the latest from sony xperia. You will be amazed at the outcome.

Worst phone as i ever used
third class battery backup, got super hot instance, again n again camera lens got dislocate, if use continuously more than half an hour phone got hang
my advice never buy any material from Sony again

i have been using this phone from 3 years after 2 years this became a beat slow but its un breakable this phone fell down from 3rd floor but it didn,t broke.

I have been using xperia Ion since Jan 2013. I fully contradict the claim of manufacturer of using a scratch resistant glass in this phone.

I have used Xperia Ion Since 2.5 years (August 2012), This is the best phone ever, Bought it at Rs21,500/- . Totally Worth it.
By the time and age factors after 2 years it got a bit slow, but it's unbreakable, with a perfect curve at the back to slide in to the pocket.
High security.

I have had negative experience with my Xperia. Exactly just over a year of usage, my microphone failed so everytime i make a call, i need to use a headset. It is common to experience crash while using apps all of a sudden like instagram, facebook, youtube etc. Then everything seems to function fine until just a couple of months ago I noticed the issue with battery. It gets really hot when using DATA (not wifi( I don't know why plus the battery gets drained more quickly. I understand that it probably has already deteriorated. If I have overcharged the battery, it's definitely less than 10 times. But that's it. I don't know if I will be able to trust Sony again. Maybe in the future but not right now.
