There are both ups and downs with this phone.
Pros-; - Fast - Responsive - Good call quality - excellent build quality
Cons-; - crappy camera (really, really bad) - no move to SD option for apps - only 5 gb user accessible memory for apps - no rooting unless your bootloader can be unlocked - 2 dead pixels out of the box (on mine)

this phone is great except for the crappy cameras (both primary and front) terrible photo quality
VERY fast when operating, responsive, a great pleasure to use. Minor cons: ringing volume quite low, screen not very deep compared to IPS. Heating problem is not a big issue (much better than Z1/Z2)

today my phone required 2hrs to charge from 47% to 99%
yesterday to do full charge 4.5 hrs
sony service center guy told it takes 4 hrs for complete charge
help me what to do

I've got Xperia M2 D2305. When I install Xperia themes from Sony Select the navigation bar won't change style (only screen wallpaper does). Anyone got the same problem? I wonder if it's a problem with software only.

Hi you guys, i'm going to buy this phone. I want to know clearly about it so here my questions: Some people said that M2 had heating problem. So what kind of that heating problem? Is it a major problem or just a minor problem? And does its camera work properly (without noises)? I heard that it had very poor speakers. Is it true? Plz reply soon guys. Thanks in advance.

in 2 hrs this cellphn gt charged properly from 0-100%,the cellphn is vry well except front camera but is works gud in outdoor or in sunlight

I opt SONY phone for the first time. Had a very bad experience. After 2 weeks, Microphone NOT working at all. I had to SUFFER a lot.
I purchased phone from Sony Gallery (Kalyan west) but NO USE, they WON'T HELP YOU..Pathetic!!
Sony Service center (Dombivali EAST) is MORE FRUSTATING, they will only give you reasons. Customer care is NOT helpful.
For me, Sony phone is as good as CHINA PHONE...!!!
Please go for any other phone than SONY.
Xperia M2 Performance is OKAY but phone gets heaten up if used more, mic quality very POOR, NOT network supportive..Front camera VGA - Pathetic!

Anonymous, 01 Jun 2014phone is too gud but camera quality very poor totally dabba... moreI think the photos in the review looks very good, white balance is spot on and that makes the colors natural and pleasant, detail is good, some postprocessing artifacts but nothing that should stop you from making a 8x10" print.
But i get it, your idea of quality is to zoom in 1:1 or more and then say it sux? I suggest you get a Grand 2 instead, butr i can promise you that you will have far more failed photos, Samsungs do well only in great light conditions, they always fail when you get challenging conditions, even S5, Samsung hasnt improved their cam software since the S3.
Dont test in outdoor good daylight, its not a challenge, all midrange phones do well in those conditions.
