I have to give this phone credit for having HSPA 850Mhz, that has been missing on virtually all midrange phones (except upper midrange, like Xperia SP) for too long and has been a problem for me ever since my Xperia Z was destroyed in an accident. Far the most lower and medium priced midrangers have only 900 and 2100MHZ HSPA, some Samsung and LG has 1900 in addition to the 2 regular ones but no 850. Good to see Sony going for 850 instead of 1900 but i still wish we would get them both (Xperia M2 version D2305 supports both but that is probably the Non-LTE version for India China + some other select markets and D2303 is the international LTE version)

KC, 24 Feb 2014any info on the pricing of the M2, will this be as costly a... moreSince this has somewhat more exclusive build quality, Snapdragon chipset and 8GB internal storage you have to expect higher price than Xperia C. The display is smaller but i doubt that tips the price in its favor.

The design of M2 is fantastic, if you consider the fact that its the successor of XM which is practically the entry level phone from Sony. But I would have preferred it to be a bit smaller like 4-4.5inch. I think they will price it a bit higher than what was initially the price of Xperia M when it came out.

qHD at this size, that sucx so much.
Why didnt they call it the L2 instead, this is way too big to be the successor of Xperia M.
Good thing it is 8GB internal, hope Sony have learned to keep 4GB away from lower midrange and reserve that for entry level from now on. Unfortunately they havent learned that flagships are swinging over to 32GB minimum, Sony is still moving too slow and does not catch shifting trends in a timely manner. Z2 with 16GB vs Galaxy S5 with 32GB, its like Sony doesnt want to sell more phones.

Do u agree that sony has let down its customers to some extent?
Lacking a 720p screen, no dual sim variant, 1gig ram instead of 1.5gig, 32gb expandibity instead of 64gb,
How it stansd against moto g in performance, lets wait n watch.
