I've just received a 18.3.C.O.40 update nofication on my D2303. Can someone inform me what this update is cause I have updatetd my phone to 4.4.2 over a month ago

kimi, 16 Oct 2014I have this phone n i love it!! I have use it about month n... moreIf you have both the choices ~ OTA and PC update, in my opinion is better to go thru pc via Sony PC Companion. Becos it's a major Android version update and the file size is large. Just make sure you follow the instruction closely stage by stage. Don't rush through.
The update truly rectified the rear camera software shortcomings. The auto mode has been improved and more.
Overall phone UI and apps open/close are fluid.
Go for it.
Yeah, just take note that the front camera remains a weak link in Selfie. Don't complaint abt selfie... it's already a known FACT.

Just applied that minor update (18.3.c0.40) to my xperia m2 kitkat 2303.This update made my phone faster than jelybean.Now it use less ram and it is more fluid.Awesome!

thanks for pointing out other things too.
we all don't need those water resistance shits if that would cost us even more just to fulfill our carelessness and lose our discipline.

we need upcoming xperia m3 or m4 of following features
1. same display (4.8 inch) but 720p resolution and not less than 299 ppi pixel density.
2. not less than 1.5 Ghz processor and 1.5 gb RAM.
3. 8.0 mp or higher rear camera and minimum 1.3 mp front camera and full HD recording.
4. slim size not less than 8.5 mm thickness.
*5. removal battery for minimum 2 days.

But, make sure you follow instruction closely if it is not OTA direct, i.e. update via PC Companion.
The main camera software will be vastly improved based on the Kitkat update. Also, after update some apps data can be moved to sdcard! That really a great change that helps to free up the limited internal storage.
