Try to upgrade it to KitKat and do manual setting in Camera (read comment from expert 123).
I was also thought that it's not the best one out there, but soon after I tried manual setting and also upgrade to KitKat, I was stunned! M2 Camera result beats my wife's iPhone!
I used my M2 with all data all day long. I used it start from 0600hrs and when I'm going to sleep, it still have About 15% to 20% left.

I came to own an xperia m2 just for a month. I am beginning to explore the unit but i get frustrated because it always stops, i cannot use it at all. I need to wait for the battery to get empty before i can turn it off.
It is so frustrating knowing that it is sony.

Developer support is still small; the device is not a year old yet, but we will be getting there.
The S3 has an excellent developer community, so why upgrade? Specs for specs versus the M2, the S3 is still an excellent phone.

Hi Lukax amd those wo asked about KitKat Upgrade.
There's 2 options to upgrade it.
1. Via Sony PC Companion through your PC.
2. Via OTA (over the air).
If your phone already get notification, then you can upgrade it to KitKat.
I upgraded my M2 via OTA. Just make aure you have a fast WiFi connection as this upgrade will need to download about 350MB.
To check it, just go to update center and tap system. You will need to download it first before. Please be advised that upgrade process after you finished to download it will take about 40-50 minutes.
Anyone (M2 users), Trust me, Camera result are much better after you upgraded it to KitKat. I proved it my self! It even much better than my Wife's iPhone4!

I think it's not fair to generalize this phone specification with aftersales support in your area to all of Sony all over the world. Here in Indonesia, we have a great support center. I had a difficulties before, when I upgraded my M2 software upgrade. (not on my KitKat upgrade). It shows no progress when updating via my Laptop. I called Sony Support Center and they guided me through with all detail and even follow it through with email afterward just to check whether my problem solved or not.
I really satisfied with Sony Support Services so far and I really don't think your review represent my experience correctly.
Just for your information, I had several different mobile phones brand in the past, and no support center better than Sony Support Center services so far. My experience before with other famous brand, they didn't helped my any bit at all but direct me to go to their service instead of trying to assist me firsthand.

Don't ask urself, just replace the s3 with this beast. The camera is perfect for midrange, the screen can't show the picture well, but when u download it to PC the picture is very good. In Bulgaria we started to recieve KitKat last week. Very powerfull combination between CPU and graphics, I play Fifa14 and PvZ2 without sign of lag.

I reoganize my apps n off a few apps notification, why when i restart, it back to the way it was, like the apps were unorganized and the notification that i had off, turned on again. as if it does not save the changes that i made before restart it. more my games and apps i save in SD card. How to handle this?
