AnonD-275659, 06 Aug 2014Does sony m2 have other problems??To be frank, so far the M2 really demonstrates itself as a highly stable smartphone based on its hardware n software optimization at this stage. Just can't be too sure what will happen when it is updated to Kitkat...
If there's a shortcoming then it is the 8G internal storage, but that can be solved with the Kitkat update becos it is published that some apps data can be moved to sdCard. So far, after more than 3 weeks of into M2, i remain very happy.

Anonymous, 05 Aug 2014Xperia M2 or Xperia SP? Which one would you prefer?Hi, i have used both phones, for me, both phones alomost similar but if u ask me, i would choose m2 because of android 4.3 and the touching feel was good. Besides, it has 4g so the internet speed is fast and also if u used wifi, it won't disconnect but sp will have this problem. However, sp most attractive part where it have lights under the phone when songs or message were played...

Anonymous, 05 Aug 2014Xperia M2 or Xperia SP? Which one would you prefer? If you play games a lot and like to add AR effects on your pictures, then take M2.
Also, M2 battery lasts much longer.

AnonD-275659, 05 Aug 2014How about you... do you sony xperia m2 user... If yes....... moreOf course, i m M2 user. I traded in my Samsung S3 for this Sony phone, on hindsight this is one of my good decisions.
It is a fast and stable phone.
Play with the camera's various manual and AR setting and you will embrace the camera software.
Dont bother with others saying the camera isn't good.

Just to add, no need to set ISO auto, instead set it at 100 or 200 depending lighting condition.
I m having great picture taken by M2...
For those lazy bum prefer Superior Auto setting, they need more luck than usual, to end up decent pictures.

The camera in fact has many layers of setting that could turn in great photos. But if you are lazy bum just rely on the Auto mode than you have to pray.
That's not all, if you were to download the latest Google Now Launcher from Play Store, instead of using stock Xperia launcher, oh mine, this M2 starts to rock hard! Apps operation n UI are very fluid and responsive.
                                  Conclusion, a great buy.
And, Kitkat 4.4.2 is definitely coming soon to M2.
Battery good for 3 days with moderate usage.
Dont believe in others saying it has only 4G storage. Wrong, it has 8G internal storage.
Last word: it is much more reliable than Galaxy S3 LTE even in terms of using as daily driver, which i just traded in to get this M2.

i'm looking for a good smart phone and HTC caught my attention. but i was wondering if they are tough enough? i have butter fingers and drop my phone A LOT!! besides many times it just slides off my pockets while i'm sitting. its still alive just because its a nokia. but can a HTC go through the same amount of torture??

p.s: i like the HTC one mini and desire 700 (dual sim) very much. are these phones tough or will they brake after a fall or two?my budget is around $300. please suggest any other smartphone in that range (except samsung and Iphone. i hate those. )

Luna, 04 Aug 2014I have an Iphone 4, and since the last update it's very slo... moreDon't go with Sony. They were ok when they were together with Ericsson. No It's just down the drain. They'll finish off if there is no reall deal. If you look at them in specs in every one theere's a miss. And there is a problem with TFT screen in Xperia Z they brake because of the home button and the repare isn't done in waranty because of the so called hard presure on it. Rubbish.
Don't get me wrong i am not bashing it's just that they don't bring as much as they use to. That is a fact.
I still have the SE K800i and it still rocks. I have just sold the SE W995 (this one is amazing it's everything on it from best friend to tracking device-you can take a pick and see where were you going and what was your speed...... just the camera was bad because it didn't have anty-shake).
So go for something else maybe HTC One etc, or Lg Optimus G Pro etc, but if you are going for Samsung look from Note 3 and and what is newer now because they are much stable now in SW. Good luck.
