I currently have the Sony m4 dual 16 gb variant so far only minor problems are seen especially opening apps for the first time. it works fine however the overheating issue is eminently there EVER and camera button is quite slow. Maybe having 16 gb is better than 8 gb if you want to ask the overall performance of this phone after using it for two months. Recently SONY sent an email stating that a New Software ( v.26.3.B.133) is available but when I check for the update in the phone's setting, it says that the device is up to date. Now I wonder how that happened.. any info?

Where do I start? Recently took out a contract for M4 Aqua, after 9 months the phone started slowing down, then became non-responsive, then just completely died. Took it to my service provide and they couldn't fix it. Took it to a trusted external party, was told that the phone cannot be repaired. I thought nothing of it, when time came for my wife to upgrade her contract I recommended the Sony M5. After 5 months the phone seems to be showing the same symptoms as the M4 Aqua. It has not died yet, but it seems well on it's way. Suffice to say, I will never ever again purchase a Sony phone. I thought this was a reputable company and brand. In the past years they always have been associated with quality and a certain standard and panache. I am terribly disappointed with Sony and will advise all my family and friends and all who will listen, that, Sony is among the worst RUBBISH out there. I WOULD SERIOUSLY ADVISE YOU NOT TO BUY SONY! Their standard has dropped hugely! I have been a Sony client for close to 15 years now. These new phones they have out at the moment confirms, that a giant has fallen.
