If I had seen this forum before I got my mum and gran to buy me it for last year's Christmas present then I would have told them otherwise xDDD I haven't got the dual sim version but the problems I have been experiencing are very similar or exactly the same as some of you. Advice for those looking to purchase the M4.... RUN A MILE!!!!!

I purchased this phone at last of jan and till now I do not have any problem with this phone. It is working properly and there is no any problem with this phone.

I have been a lifelong fan of Sony but after my experience with this phone, I have lost faith with this brand. Firstly, the phone I received was defective and the call mic wasn't working so they replaced my phone with a new one within a week. After 3 months, the 3.5 mm jack stopped working and again I had to get it repaired which took almost a month as they had to source parts for it. After a few months again I always faced software issues and had to software repair/factory reset every alternate month for it work fine. Finally, after more than a year, the phone started restarting on its own and wouldn't get repaired anymore. The phone heats up extensively and starts lagging after a couple of months. I hope after reading this review others will not spend their hard earned money and waste it on such an appalling device. Sony isn't the same like Sony Ericson anymore. Rather try out a new brand henceforth.

The same problem keep repeating until now after 1 year this totally crap phone shut down more than 10 times a day,think that it might be software issues i repair the system by using sony xperia companion. All the things clear and my phone fresh as new from the factory,but after 10 minutes the phone keep shutting off and now the phone totally black out and not function at all..high spec,high price,high temperature=keep shutting down

Sony m4 aqua phone is the worst phone. Neither spares are available. Neither phone is repairable. Once it is out of order. Then its a scrap.worst. pls dnt buy sony phones

I never post reviews, but I have to keep people from buying this garbage!!!
I ONLY USED THE PHONE FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS, since then I sent it to repair 4 TIMES!
I've had problems with the speakerphone and sent in 3 TIMES, every time it comes back the same way!
It's like they don't even bother with it. Apparently everyone has the same problem.
I am glad I bought an extended warranty and now they are giving me a refund (Exept for the $150 I paid for this service.) But at least its something.
DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE. ITS A TRAP !!!

THIS IS THE WORSE PHONE. DO NOT BUY! This phone stopped working two days after I got it as loaner from my cell phone carrier. It stopped taking a charge, and it would not turn on. I purchased another LGG3 that worked great, and two day after I bought that new phone the Sony phone miraculously started to work again. I kept is as backup, and it died again two days after I tried using it again. It is slow, and it does not deliver/receive SMS messages in a timely manner. I will never buy a SONY phone again!

Bought this phone in 2015 November, after 1 year Camera has stopped working, checked with service center and it costs around USD 180.00 to replace the motherboard as its the faulty part. Also the battery life is not up to the mark.
Really upset with this phone, pls do not buy this M4 Aqua Dual. understand most M4's are affected with Camera and battery heating issues.

I love the features. When I used the Lolipop it usedto by Struck but now no issue working like iPhone even. Lovely upgrade. But small issue is battery drain. I usually used for 2 days but now only 1 and 1/2 days can be used.

This is the worst phone ever seen. Phone is like getting heat like cooking pan battery worst it will take 45 mins to increase 5% battery but within 7 to 10 mins 10% will reduce. The value of 19000 its nt at al worth for this phone.
