I bought this phone on 17th July 2015 from Singer Sri Lanka. This phone is very nice and very attractive. On my first hour of usage gave me the heating problem. The heat is a normal issue in all smart phones but in Sony it is unusual.
The standard battery hours mentioned in specifications is completely misleading.
So I have to return the phone to my supplier and requested a new Brand
Sony is a very stylish phone still I love but these problems does not allow me go with Sony any more....

Ya this phone have heating problem i have submitted to service centare for replacement .hope company will replace soon.

Khush, 19 Jul 2015A5 is better then M4 AQUA. The M4 update will make it become better and more, but the A5 update only give you a frustrated experience, I promise.

zudin, 17 Jul 2015My smartphone SONY XPERIA M4 AQUA DUAL is always heating up... morehiii.. zudin , i read your prob . just run the phone in safe mode , if heating prob is not appear ,that mean the third party app you have installed in your devise. is creating the prob. you have to uninstall them..try this will be work ..!! all the best

Got my phone in June. 13 days later just switched off but the battery was full didn't want to go on at all screen was off. Put it on charge and nothing happened. Only after a while went on but was completely flat. Recharged it. Same thing happened again a few days later. Heats up very easily. Great phone. Just don't understand why it switched off.
