Sony M4 is a useless phone, bought this 20th June and 24th June got shut down by itself and not starting. The shop rep said it is because of apps update and not to worry it happened thrice so far and today. Couldnt switch on. Call quality from this phone is pathetic. Radio is a complete waste. The phone is not even worth Rs. 2500/- Sony should stop selling mobile phones.

I bought my Xperia M4 aqua dual white about 25 days ago. i have nice experience with my M4 aqua dual except some heating. but heating is more when camera remains on....while browsing and gaming its not so much(as i have some heavy games of 800-900 MB)....As i use white one so it becomes cool much easily. I also faced the same "protected " problem ie. screen showing protected n everything failed even tried with my genuine gmail n password. then i contacted the Sony promotor, who insisted me to buy M4. he then solved it by contacted his trainer n higher authorities. now its working fine. I m a moderate to heavy user but battery still remains about 30% after the whole day. its screen also provides very accurate colors and can b compared to AMOLED screen as i did with Samsung galaxy S3 neo. I have compared it with my colleague's Xperia C3 dual n found it has very well lited n colors even at any angle, while C3 dual screen shows blackened n dim litted when viewed from an angle.....till date i didn't face any problem except that which i explained above.

Advantages:
1)Good Battery Backup.
2)Excellent Front Camera.
3)Good Sound Quality.
4)No Hanging Problems.
5)Water and Dust Proof.
6)4G
Disadvantages:
1)Heats up quickly.
2)Average rear 13MP Camera.
3)Non - Removable Battery.

I had bought M4 Aqua Dual two weeks ago.I faced many problem. The worst is that phone is shut down itself automatically and The contacts in the address book are sometimes disappear and then appear again.Most often I restart the phone.So if you going to buy that phone,you need make sure the after sale service.Because of the problems which occur after buying. I am also one of the unlucky user.Good Luck Everybody!If it is possible,I'd like to know why it happen.Thanks!

Xperia m4 aqua totally sucks. I had bought this phone a week back and the next day i faced mic problems. This problem was very strange. When we talk the person who calls can't hear our voice but when I kept loud speaker on he could hear. I thought i should factory reset my phone but it was no help. Also when i tried voice recording it was totally clear.

raja, 08 Jul 2015keep mobile for one day without try to unlock. after one da... moreI have already tried to factory reset with sony pc companion.. but even after that the problem stands. in sony's website on a post the said that " as this MXTP is combined with boot loader even after factory reset the problem will remain". :(

i bought this phone 2 weeks back. yesterday i swithed off my phone. after i switched on it i got struct with "Protected" interface.MXTP gave me the lockdown screen with the verify, wifi settings and emergency call options on it. So as I wanted to unlock my device i pressed the verify button and a log in screen for my google account appears. I use my google account on all kinds of different devices so I logged in. But here someting goes wrong.
When I typed in the username and password to verify it is my M4 it gave me a loading icon for 2 seconds and then it says "incorrect username and/or password" and my M4 stays locked. To double check if my password and username are correct i logged in to another adroid device and my laptop with no problems. So now I'm stuck with a brand new non working xperia M4. as im in srilanka i dont even have a service center. helpless at all..

Need to wait for Sony to update their software then should be alright. You can read about Xperia Z when they first receive KIT KAT, they have battery draining issues as well.
