      @Washim
the sony xperia tipo is released today globally.
now for aisa, only phones left to be release are tipo dual, miro, ion.
today, sony removed the tag "comming soon" and put it as "New" in regard to tipo only.

AnonD-62906, 09 Aug 2012Yes, ofcourse u r right. In November/2011, DLNA has added ... more"Google also added Wifi direct support at thier ICS."
it means that every ICS installed device has wifi direct??
        one more question:
stage 1 : if a device is only wifi enabled, then thers a probability that it wont have wifi hotspot and wifi direct?
stage 2 : if a device has wifi hotspot, then it will be an wifi enable devicebut its not sure that it'll have wifi direct?
stage 3 : if device has wifi direct then its obvious that it also has wifi hotspot, and its defin8ly a wifi enabled device?
if all the three stages are correct (acc. to me that what i've understood) then i'll ask u another question based on them.

And if i want to have an access to use internet on 2 or more pc/laptops through one broadband connection then i'll be needing an amplifier modem.
        connections will be as follows:
1.broadband internet phone line to modem
2.line out form modem to amplifier modem's line in (earlier it was connected to motherboard directly)
3.line out from amplifier modem to number of pc/laptops (it has several line out sockets usually 3-9)
        is my answer correct?
i forgot the actual name of that device (amplifier modem), thats y i called it as amplifier modem.

Is there no NFC on this device? Thought it's now a stardard feature. Plus most lower--cheaper Nokias got it.

AnonD-64192, 09 Aug 2012yes, i think its secure to share contents over wifi direct ... moreYes, ofcourse u r right.
In November/2011, DLNA has added Wi-Fi Direct in its interoperability guidelines, so u won't need a additional router(bcz Wifi direct does not need router).
Then Google also added Wifi direct support at thier ICS. Wifi direct is started from 2010 by Wifi alliance.
Now suppose u have modem to connect internet through ur pc. Then if u try to get internet access on ur another pc with same modem, then how can it will be?

Is it secure to share c... moreyes, i think its secure to share contents over wifi direct group network and everyone can see our contents when he/she is connected with us but all they need is permission before they want to have an access.

Is it secure to share contents over wifi direct group network?
Yes, its powered with WPAP2, the latest wifi security technology.
                    1. Can everyone see ur contents when he is connected with u?

i'll never miss any opportunity to get information (especially regarding technology whether its for IT, COmputer Hardware/Software, Automobiles, Electronic Devices i.e. mobile phones, home appliances , consumer electronic goods, or any device) through which i can learn many things, and also be able to get most out of that, as i love to use any thing to its limit to get the maximum benifit.

                        AnonD-64192, 09 Aug 2012yes i got it, very-3 clearly....!!Option 6:
Can all devices form multiple connection?
U did not get this question. This means can all wifi direct certified devices make group connection with more than 2 devices at the same time? Now below the answer.
Wifi direct is capable of Multiple connectivity but it depends on whether the manufacturer has enabled it so or not. If enables, then u can. In most devices, manufacturers enable multiple connectivity. This type of things are called Manufacturer Customization.
Have u got this 6th option? Do u want to know more? If yes, I will share.

                            Option 4:
                            How to connect?
There r 2 best methods to connect through.
                            I. In most devices it requires a single push of an option.
II. Or Pin code method like bluetooth connection.
Then it will show connectable devices list and if manufacturer has enabled then it also can show for what(what can u do with a particular device) the devices r.
                            Option 5:
                            Whats the maximum coverage range?
U guessed this range to be 100 meters in open air, but not. Its 200 meters(656 feet). Bluetooth v4.0 supports only 200 feet.
Have u got option 4 n 5? If yes, we will proceed to 6.

AnonD-64192, 09 Aug 2012its ohkay....never mind, just give your best in exams. wel... moreYes, wifi hotspot network(or infrastructure network in other words) are totally different from wifi direct. Ur this question relates to option '3'.
Look, wifi hotspots r wifi tower or simply called AP or WAP. With this network, u can browse websites, download contents as u know. But to share data between devices, u can't use hotspot network, u will have to use wifi direct. So wifi direct does not give u internet access, it provides data sharing as I said previously. Simply wifi direct is not a replacement of wifi infrastructure network.

Now come to option 2.b which is about "backward compatible". Backward Compatible means a wifi direct certified device can also form group network for sharing data with non wifi direct(only wifi enabled) device. Its bcz the Wifi alliance has powered it as backward compatible.
                                Now have u got option 2.b and 3? I will tell about 4, 5 n 6 in next post.

but still em waiting for the other points, and one more question to ask "wifi direct and wifi hotspot are same?" if not, then whats the difference.
