And, he want a bigger display and then Note 3 is not much of an upgrade, plus it has region lock.

i have this phone for 15days t2 ultra is awsome no singal problem in this phone everybody must buy t2 ultra dual

Firstly, T2 UI is superb and it use much less ram than note2& note3 's touch wiz UI
Secondly, IPS display is better than Amoled screen
Amoled has oversaturated and unnatural colour and has cartoonish vision
Moreover, T2 has Ominibalance and unibody design
and a little bigger screen and camera is cool
Battery life* it lasts 3 days for normal user and 2 days for peofessional user and 1 day for heavy user and heavy gamers
You can enjoy excellent battery life

And i love this Unibody Design. I will not use more than 2 GB of apps (Total apps ). So internal memory also not a problem for me. Right now only my problems are 1.Whether T2 Ultra Scrren is better than note 2 or not? 2. For a heavy internet usage the battery will withstand for a day or not?

[deleted post]Dont do it, Note 2 is not a great device in any way but has the advantage of 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, and T2 Ultra has same resolution on a bigger display, which means you are not gaining anything. Go for a 1080p phone with 2GB RAM if you are upgrading.
Its kind of unreal to think that my 4.2 inch BlackBerry has higher resolution than both Note 2 and T2 Ultra.

This is how Android, and the Linux kernel, works, it use as much RAM as possible to make the phone faster, by keeping stuff in RAM an app can be awakened in seconds, thus making the phone MUCH faster than if it had to be loaded from flash storage. If you start a new app its all fine, the Linux kernel is free to overwrite the RAM used by those cached apps anytime without any performance hit at all.
Cache is good, task killers are bad.
Edit: Not the same type of caching but... Anyone remember the old PCs where you could disable the CPU's Level 1 cache? If ever you tried it you would get an idea on what caching means for performance, it took half an hour to boot WinXP with L1 cache disabled on a Pentium 3.

Secondly, I said I find 100 MB insufficient in average mobiles, I neva said I game on a 1GB droid..read twice if its dat difficult :D

So, you saying that these phones only have 100mb of free RAM while in use is actually funny.

as i known that T2 have only 4gb plus memory for user storage, i wonder if there any problem that in future for kitkat update? since kitkat is not allow for app tranffering to SD card...
