Finally somebody who appreciates the build quality of Sony phones and tablets. I have an Xperia one (j8110). The amount of damage it has sustained and still runs and plays the latest games. I live in an area with a very hostile RF issue. And it still function fairly well. Certainly any other phone would be toast.

to find your IMei number just Dial "*#06# " (without the imverted commas) and the IMEI will be displayed on the screen

Like the others I've upgraded to LineageOS 14.7 and the tablet still performs well. However it's now getting harder to charge so I'll install a new charging port.

Bought this beast on release and it still works like new after over 4 years. Even better actually with Android 7.1 thanks to LineageOS. Accidently sat on it once and bent it very slightly. You think the thing would care but nope. (Albeit the water resistance is almost certainly gone now because of a crack in the frame). Runs for days on stand by too. No noticeable scratches despite removing the protective cover. (Which I wouldn't recommend doing since that made touch input a bit oversensitive).
I'm honestly flabbergasted how most manufacturers can't build tablets like this one nowadays.

Four and a half years from new and still faultless. A truly great tablet.

have upgraded last year from Lollipop to Cyanogen Android 6 and last month to Lineage OS Android 7.1.1 - no problems using TWRP to backup data then install Lineage OS - it's great to have the latest Android Nougat on a 3 year old tablet
(got latest zip image from developer CaHbKaUp - an official version is promised later)
