well!its a very good phone with this range of price.very beautiful and good performance.my camera is not bad.it is normally but with an app like camera zoom fx or camera 360 it can be even better.it hasnt any rivals with this price.only problem is for sims.network sometimes falls.

But SONY chooses Android 4.0 for Tipo Dual mobile. If mobile is not as compatible(smooth operating) with that OS than SONY should have to select lower version of Android OS which perform well. So here SONY is driving his vehicle in wrong way not ANDROID. And thats why this accident occur for this mobile. ;)

Tipo dual is manufactured to use dual sim!? but the hell if we on the data traffic in one sim the other goes to either emergency or no service mode mojority of the times. Initially the other sim icon may show the signal bar but we can not get connected to the incoming call...untill we off the data traffic. If its so then how come this can be called a dual sim. But i have checked with basic android Samsung sets there is an option to receive the call with other sim, the default sim automatically changes and call connects...its really great.
Recently, after noticing this bad feature i apprached to sony service centre they told after noting my complaint we will replace the board; as initial boards have the same problem. After 6-7 days i collected the set with the hope that i wont mis any call to the other sim while the data is on with the other sim. However no such expectations came true same problem reapeated....... So why did they made this model in dual?????? This is so bad

Install Sony PC Companion, connect your phone and follow the instructions on the screen to update to the latest firmware.

I have also installed BBM and it runs like butter. Many people keep complaining that the phone hangs and bla bla but believe me if you operate it correctly and install only those application which are required will give you decent performance of the phone. All the android phones normally eat battery very fast but Tipo dual has solid battery backup it is amazing when I forgot to take charger with me it gave me long battery backup hardly it needs to be charged once in 2 days with moderate usage. Such a nice phone in this cheap price tag one of the best phone in its class.
Hats off to Sony really.

All the comments people made about Sony Tipo Dual is just bcoz either they dont know how to operate or they dont know how to and what to install in such superb phone. I am using this Sony Xperia Tipo Dual since last 5 months and did not face any problem even the game "temple run" runs smoothly. People may need to keep atleast 100 MB RAM free, what they must be doing is they open several application and dont bother about the ram the more applications running background the more they eat the ram and hence the phone lags or hangs for sometime

its a cool gadget.
but i think there is inconsistency between the OS version and the physical size of the phone.Raally they physical size need to be large

At first backup your contacts,messages,logs etc..with any backup apps(search on google play store)
now Go to settings > backup & reset > Factory data reset> reset phone
Install that app again>restore your contacts and data

i have problem in loudspeaker of mobile.

First Issue:
Sony experia tipo dual have a problem of network when we activate data packet of first sim say(airtel) automatically second sim network goes to no service there is no network in second sim till when data packet activated of first sim .
Second Issue:
I am using sony tipo dual from last 8 months but suddenlt my phone restarted continously what to do post a good answer waiting for u r rply

I'm using it for more than 1 year
At first i had some problems but later update it to the latest firmware and those problem were solved
I'm happy with this phone,better than samsung cheap plastics..
for regular users it's a decent phone
you can't expect much from a budget phone
