yes its DUAL SIM STANDBY!!!
in my previous comments i wrote that its not dual sim standby which was wrong, sorry!
i get it confirmed from white papers as its written
Standby time (GSM+GSM) Up to 350 hours*
Standby time (UMTS+GSM) Up to 360 hours*
Talk time (GSM) Up to 5 hours*
Talk time (UMTS) Up to 6 hours and 18 min.*
which clearly indicated that its sual sim standby smartphone

apurva, 30 Jul 2012Is this a Dual standby ? means can you use both sims simult... moreno, its not dual sim stand-by, actually its only dual-sim smartphone, i.e. it has two sim card slot but only one sim will be active at a time,it also has a dedicated key through which you can switch between your sim cards.
NOTE:only one sim will be ON, and if you want to switch second sim ON (through "switch key"), your first sim will be turned OFF automatically.

It is dual standby phone like samsung means both sims are active for INCOMING CALLS ONLY. And only ONE SIM CAN BE USED FOR OUTGOING CALLS AND INTERNET. To use other sim for outgoing you have to press switch button. You can find video in youtube just browse.
Summary
1) BOTH SIM FOR INCOMING CALLS ONLY
2) ONE SIM FOR OUTGOING CALLS( switching to 2nd sim is so easy just press a button).

Is this a Dual standby .I personally doubt that as I have seen from all possible sites but it just says it is a dual sim phone and one sim can be used at one time and to switch there is a separate switch on the side.

In the interest of customers.
Technology is really changing very fast example:- Mobile phones with quad core cpus. Who is really wanted them, customers or mobile maker companies. Even my 5 year old computer has single core cpu and just 1 gb ram and it handles all tasks smoothly with windows 7. I don't know why mobile phones need so much power like quad core etc. Is this a planned strategy of mobile companies to urge customers to purchase their new costly phones with high features? whether they use them or not. Even quad core laptops are not common in the market until now. Do mobiles really need so much processing power? Think about it.
