I got my tipo dual last december as a christmas gift to my self, my first month with it was totally devastated, unsatisfied I almost wanted to sell it half of its price just to get rid of it. as I suppose to post it on the net for me to sell it ive try toask the net what should I do to save my phone!
first reset the phone
next update your phone apps
next download touchwftools and install it to your phone this enhance your phones sensitivity and its performance also it removes the unwanted feedback for calls.
I dont even root my phone yet, but it works more than what im expecting. this is my first time to use sony brand and definitely recommends xperia phones just researh first rather than complaint it wont do no good if you just complaint. get xperia tipo dual works great on me i t may work same with you!

I lose my phone.if there any option to find it?with imei ?or can i block it with imei number?

the worst phone i ever saw is tipo dual. sound quality even does not matches to Nokia C5. it is too slow, having echo problem, not a dual standby. i purchase tipo dual in the month of December and got jack problem, when i submitted this phone to Sony care, Surat, after one week they told me that mother board is also having some problem, so have to change it, today my mobile completed 22 days in sony care, and I am waiting to receive it. It is my goodness that phone have warranty of a year otherwise I would have been loss much amount. you decide friends to bye this phone or not.... other options are ACE duos at 10.5K, S duos at 13.5K or Micromax Canvas HD at 13.9K....

it is a good phone and it runs android 4.0 ice cream sanwitch and the phone is better than samsung galaxy y

Yo! Man I brought this phone 3 weeks ago and its simply superb.
A decent phone under 10K, good looks and amazing features.
Its an absolute win win situation.
Just make sure to download app cleaner software from play store and you are good to go!
I personally give it a thumbs up for best buy under 10K.

This phone is really dissapointing. Everything in this phone is slow. Touch screen does not respond. Music with x loud is not loud. Internet is slow, when i try the SIM with my other phone it works much better. I'm looking for a way to get rid of it but feel guilty selling it -- Noone should have to deal with this phone. I wish Sony would just recall this phone and refund everyone who bought it. Not worth your money.

Update means phone software up-gradation,
when you first time connect your mobile with data cable is ask for PC suit.
I just follow as per messages from sony service centre and directly install Sony Companion PC suite from internet while connected my mobile through data cable.
Whenever I connect with data cable it show whether my phone is up to date or not!
As simple as that! just download Sony PC Companion suite and update phone to version - 11.0.A.6.8

it's 4 and half month passed using this cell phone.
I was in same situation where most of buyers are right now.
It was regret over decision of buying sony xperia tipo dual and not gone for other brand( as I wanted to test sony product first time)
By reading all negative review me too feeling that it was my wrong decision.But after a month I started liking this device.
If you seen my past comment regarding this phone I was about to sell within 1 week of purchase.
But now I used to my phone looking positive values in phone neglecting negative points.
Pros: Phone is small compact and runs smoothly compare to other devices.
only phone IN BUDGET with android 4 ICS.
3D games works great, infact some games lag in my friends samsung note and in tipo runs like butter.
GREAT battery back up as compare to other android devices.
internet lovers will like this phone
Cons: First and major why I hate this phone because of poor camera quality not expecting brand like sony.
Dual sim is not worthy. ( depends on ur use)
every phone has negative and positive, no one is complete( only you have high budget to buy high end phones)
lots of people complaining ECHO problem but I never faced such issue till date :)
may be I am lucky to got good piece from store.
I have dropped so many times got cracked and bend too.But still working great.
Next I will try my most reliable product NOKIA with new launch of Lumia 620(eagerly waiting)
it has enuff for me from phone and I am not fan boy of android so it will be better option for me.
Just praying it must be in budget or else I have to stick with my tipo dual for some ore time.
