For the first time in life i took Sony Xperia. Always used samsung, blackberry after nokia communicator series.
This phone is a must buy because it delivers more than its specifications. it performs great in every sector. It outperforms 1Ghz processors of many costly dual sims.
I'm a geek and i'll rate everything so that all of you can judge it.
Battery 9.5/10
Gaming 9/10- temple run, temple run 2, subway surfers, skater boy, bmx, etc all running smooth
Dual Sim operation 9/10
Screen 9/10
OS 9/10
internet 9/10
Speed 8/10
Look, Feel, Weight, Experience 9/10
Value for money 10/10
Pros n Cons :
Pros: price, size, weight, dual sim, speed, gaming, net etc.
Cons: no flash, no HD video, screen size, single core 800Mhz, Ram512
But even after all that, this phone rocks.
I use a note II and this phone still i feel great about this phone. 1/4th of the price of note II still great superb fantastic value for money
I can just go on writing n writing. I'll conclude by saying that one can really go for this phone and enjoy a lot if u dont need big screen, flash etc.
Just android & dual sim capability + gaming wifi 3g etc. :) Just awesome !!

People saying how much we should expect from a 10k mobile..2 major issues which i guess even 4-5k cell would provide accurately 1.echo ,recievers get to hear there own voice 2.Gprs network comes and goes according to tipo dual's wish .. i dont it get many times when needed even though full network available.
Other things, after removing headset music player starts automatically . Camera should have been better pics look like someone has painted its poor even in day light. Using since one month its easy to carry,play games using net and amazing looks too. But other things are not acceptable as a user...I got frustated with it a lot of times..

Technology is really changin... moreBro I would 2nd ur opinion regarding computing power in phones, I personnally believe that Android running on 1GHz is more than enough with compare to S40, Symbion or Windows on multicore processors of Nokia. My personnel experience with Nokia, Samsung and Htc were very interesting and found out that low end Android OS is lot better than other hi-end operating systems.

Frndz.......sony tipo dual is a good phone because it have ics as well 800mhz processor and 512 RAM to play games.........so,go for a tipo I trustedly say......

This phone is good, fantastic awesome. All work perfectly well.the only thing I don't like much is the camera which is 3.15mp. But is okay for its price. The internet is cool like the cool weather. Pls get this phone. Dont mind dose posting rubbish about this phone.

Never buy a Sony Phone,I m Using Tipo Dual From 3 Months,But There R Lot Of Problems In It
Biggest Problem Is That,"When I M Using Internet On SIM2
Then There Is No Coverage On SIM1, I Can't Get Any Call Or Message & Also I Can't Call OR Message Any One."
And When I Complaint About This In Sony Centre,But They Don't Give Satisfactory Answer.........

No. Its says "no dual-standby"....You have to switch between 2 sims for any kind of outgoing stuff (calls, sms, mms, gprs, etc.) but all types of incoming works at the same time. There is a dedicated sim-switching button on the side of the phone. So no hazel of going through settings or whatsoever.

guys, you may have thought about this phone, is Contra or Pro. IDK, but let me think, i bought this phone in end of september, but since i understand Android ofcourse i know that this phone is reallly good for entry-level.... if you guys think this phone bad, you badly comapre this phone with premium class... THINk again

As all other Xperia phones, it has its troubles in touch, hangs very frequently and irritates you a lot! I have been using it for 4 months now. Buy only if you are a big music freak and just need a so-so phone which plays good music!
