Looking at the features this product might touch 40k mark initially, also to competet with its rival Samsung with S3. The body is awesome, features are nice and surely since its SONY ...its gonna ROCK!!!
A real treat for Sony lovers :)

This probably a very good phone that's just one real problem I see and it's the battery size. Needs to be about 2500mah not 1800.

AnonD-69174, 31 Aug 2012quad core is quad core, and it will always be.. there is no... moreAre you really that grossly uninformed?
One would think that in the 21st century, at an age where everyone has a computer at home, people would already know that (when choosing a CPU) the CPU performance isn't determined just by such simple "child mind alike" factors.
There are plentiful of dual-cores in the PC world that are faster than quad-cores, hexa-cores or even octo-cores.
More isn't always better, the cores are different between CPUs so you need to see the details of each core before comparing. Pipeline size, branch prediction, number of functional units per core, cache size and type, etc, etc, are much more crucial to performance than just comparing the number of apples vs the number of oranges.
It's not like we are lacking real world examples that disprove exactly what you have just said.

AnonD-69174, 31 Aug 2012quad core is quad core, and it will always be.. there is no... moreGet your facts straight, please see benchmark results. S4 Dual Core laves your Quad core Exynos and Tegra 3 in the dust.

Is Sony Xperia TX considered Sony's latest flagship after Sony Xperia S? Until now, Sony is still quiet about Jelly Bean OS for their 2012 Xperia phones. Sony should start Jelly Bean rolling out as early as first week of October particularly for Sony Xperia S.

Anonymous, 01 Sep 2012Yup. In other good news, Sony is also looking into producin... moreIf that is true, then it's SOLD!
I have been waiting for a long while for a truly wordy Android top-range like Sony does, but with all the "upgrade ability" of the Nexus line.
Is it really a Sony phone or a Nexus by Sony?
If it is a Nexus then more than likely the camera will suffer...

But i think i'll buy this phone next year & replace my lumia since it didn't get windows 8 update os and nokia always use the same design since n9
