If you are Xperia S user then TX is your choice. Because it is the flagship phone similar to Xperia S, and you will feel the upgrade because it has larger 4.55" screen also the internal storage is 16GG that can hold many applications from your old Xperia S. Hardware specs are similar except waterproof. Best of all it is around $100 cheaper with the bonus of a camera button :)

Overall, a good solid phone from Sony for daily use. My over experience has been good with the phone. However, hopefully with the new upcoming update brings: pause/resume video recording, improve battery life, faster video recording auto focus. Kudos to Sony.

sam, 11 Dec 2012for Music clearity xperia 'TX' is better or 'S3'...?? &... moreu can't compare camera coz its 13mp. and Sony phone's audio output is cleanest, loudest and gives all great effects... tx is better choice.

sam, 11 Dec 2012for Music clearity xperia 'TX' is better or 'S3'...?? &... moreif you are looking for an all in one phone sgs3 will be the best option.it has got quad core processer and samoled+ screen for better brightness and contrast ratio.the only flow it has made is in it's design and quality. but if you want best in class camera,design and quality,colourfull display,go for tx.it has got only dual core processor,but its the latest gen krait.so it wont let you down.sony is a legend in making fone cameras,tx has got 13mp camera with focal aparture 2.4 and the display is backed with bravia reality display,witch makes sharp colorfull display though its not bright as sgs3.it has also got a curvy sleak design.

Once i was in the regional area where I can browse the internet quite quick when other phones receive little signal. The call quality is clear and loud (I got to turn down the volume), and feel like the caller is very close to you.

AnonD-88235, 11 Dec 2012i am also planning to buy this from ebay(india).So tell me ... moreI have had this phone for month now. It's the best. However there are some issues/concerns. I already wrote about it.
1) Dock TV. It seems volume buttons will not be accessible. And front camera will be very low , very close to the edge . Might not be issue at all. I don't have dock tv yet.
2) SMS deletion process. It takes four clicks to delete. Very clumsy. Android 2.4 handles it much better.
3) Youtube app. It lags , for buffering, if the movie is too long . I tried all settings, no help. It might be related to my Inet provider, but on pc no lags at all.
4) Bloomberg app. It used to coredump if you choose to play video in article. Not anymore . Everything is smooth now :).
5) Onscreen buttons not a problem at all for me. I like it, no mechanics. It means will not turn sticky, or broke .
6) Signal reception is much better then Iphone . I compared it with my wife's Iphone. She barely got one bar , whereas I got 3 full bars in some areas. Skype on Iphone looks so amateure and disfunctional compare to Skype on android.
7) Address book sucks on Android. I don't like it the very interface of it. It must be redone.
Resume: As usual , hardware is great , but software ( Android ) doesn't fit hardware, way behind .

Actually, the design is pretty good,... moreI think onscreen buttons will not be widely adopted, and disappear again soon. Unfortunately, the damage is already done, Sony Yuga also has onscreen buttons.
For android tablet i find the onscreen buttons to be good, but then they are very small, and its ok to be that small on a 10 inch display, they steal just a few pixels on the bottom, and the display is already 16:10 anyway, so i still have a 16:9 display area.

I already owned one.
Actually, the design is pretty good, I like the curve of the phone. The Android is ok, but I really feel annoying, sometime frustrating with the 3 buttons of Home screen which located inside the screen, so the size of the screen is decreased pretty much, beauty - yes, but practical - absolutely no.
