memo, 17 Nov 2012Gorilla glass is marketing gimmick...go and check u tube vi... moreevery body knows that the gorilla glass is a scratch resistant and not a scratch proof and it is not break resistant.....but it is not easily breakable,and when it cracks it will not scatter ,unlike the cheap glass that sony uses in xperia s,sl,tand tx which is easily scatter if it fall down,so that is why sony puts a scatter proof screen over the cheap glass,the scatter proof screen is scratch magnet...in reality samsung , apple or htc when they say they are using gorilla scratch resistant screen they are saying the truth,but sony only uses the phrase (glass resistant) as marketing gimmick because after 2 weeks of use the obligatory screen protector will get a lot of scratches.
i am not talking about the rugged phones...

i recently purchased this model from HK. when i join the plan with Vodafone unfortunationaly i can,t get connected to the internet despite their best effort to try to set up the phone. I was told that may be Vodafone's system is not ready for this model. Is this true? Can other user tell me do they have the same problem with me?

Will this super sexy phone come to Indian markets? If yes, then what would be the expected price? I have another question, what is the process to import a phone to India and are there any hidden charges for Custom Duty or it will be just shipping charges?

On the other hand go and check Xperia go and Xperia acro for example which survived what your gorilla glass cannot survive....

It already... moreUnlike the other manufacturers who use the top glass in the market (gorilla glass) Sony chosed to use a cheap glass that must have screen protector on the top of it....this screen protector is easily scratched and difficult to remove and if u remove it and your phone fall down...then say good buy to the cheap glass.

richi, 12 Nov 2012TX or T please?Very hard choice. Really. Just read back , there are tons of reasons in favor of either. You choose :).
After I got my TX I did the following observation. I am going to buy TV dock . And TX is designed that usb is located on right side of the phone and when you dock the phone, front camera will be in lower right side , very close to edge/rim of the dock. I am wondering if it will be a distraction for skype video call. Besides when phone is docked volume button is not accessible at all. Not big deal, you still have volume control on display, but this is not really convenient. SONY must fire the designer .

It works with Sandisk Ultra UHS Class 1/Class 10 64GB micro-SD. However, I have trouble with 5GHz 802.11n, as well as hidden SSID. Google Hidden SSID app in the Play store to get around the hidden SSID issue.

ENJiiee, 15 Nov 2012i have mini sim, so how can i use it if it is a micro sim?Well, you can cut it to a micro sim size yourself. There's a lots of tutorials on how to do it on YouTube. Or you can buy one of those Micro sim cutters that cuts your mini sim into micro sim size. The cutters doesn't cost you. Priced about MYR 8 here in Malaysia.
