Your comment sounds like you are taking my criticism too personally.

Don't understand why certain brands including Sony still think its a better user experience to provide third party apps such as Facebook which can't be uninstalled. Thankfully, there are other brands that don't do so.

I'm bit torn with XA2 plus and nokia 7 plus
I know nokia 7 plus has better chip, but XA2 plus will assure to have better screen and audio exp.(in track record of sony phone), stock android while good, is to barebone in android one device unlike pixel, so sony ui win for me here
So maybe compare them in person then i will decide

Every phone review here is commented by some no sense engineer. If you don't like don't buy it, it's easy. If someone know better go work for them, don't comment unnecessary here. Every brand trying to be best on it's own way. Brand who can make something for everyone doesn't exist.

There's no trace of this phone (or XZ2P) in any Sony middle east website or page. Looks like they are indeed leaving the ME market.

                          i'd NEVER buy sony devices.
                          -They are too expensive
                          -Their technical support is terrible
-When having issues globally, they don't fix them

marko97sx, 12 Jul 2018best. mid. ranger. ever.As long as you don't care about weight. If this phone was 170 to 180 grams I might agree that it is a good mid-ranger but not at 205 grams. That's a brick in my eyes.

I don't care how good this phone is, there is no way I would ever buy a phone weighing over 200 grams. I like to carry my phone in my shirt pocket and they aren't made with reinforced steel.

i think I'm going to buy it.

A blown 2JZ, 12 Jul 2018THANK YOU... Why are people so damn obsessed with chips and... moreWhile it's also used to judge whether a phone is worth the price, it's mainly for determining whether a phone is future-proof for people who buy phones with 2-year intervals (for reasons of practicality and minimizing waste generation). Surely it's still fairly capable now but with the development of more sophisticated apps (mostly graphic intensive games) and other phone functions (AI, etc), this particular chip could get outdated soon since it's not exactly new either. While I think flagship chips are truly overkill, the difference in performance to this chip (and other similar chips) is just too vast and an upper midrange is actually the one that makes total sense. And since the XA- is the only Sony midrange series, they should've had more powerful chips. I understand that people buy phones for different reasons. If I change mine every year, I wouldn't mind getting this.
