DONO, 04 Jul 2020I buy an used and unlocked from japan (AU/SOV39) for US$300... moreActually you can flash it using newflasher even with bootloader locked(UBL - NO). Download the flash file from xperifirm but make sure to download according to how many simcard your phone supports. If you have single sim, dual sim flash file won't work or potentially brick your precious Sony Xperia XZ3. Delete all .ta files before flashing and press 'N' every time it prompt you to press it in order to proceed to avoid some issues such as simcard not detected. Go find some guide in Google. There's ton of it.

BUT, I have been using this phone to its limits and man its reliable. I have been playing PUBG all day. Does not get too heated. Reliable. Recommended.

speed camera gaming etc every thing is excellent...
battry timing is also good whole day with normal use easily done from 100 to 30%...
one of the best thing is display... display is outstanding...feel like premium device samsung s10 etc in this price range in Pakistan the best flagship phone...i will highly recommend all of you who are going to buy this device...

Futre thoughts, 16 Mar 2021Still android 9, January patch 2020, no update till now, h... moreIf you still have the Android 9 in your XZ3, it means that in your country Sony never officially announced it. Maybe you ordered XZ3 from Ebay, or some other web shop outside the country you live in. It's obviously not working well with telecom operator in your country. So that's the reason why you're stuck with original Android 9 on XZ3 without any new updates. It's not Sony's fault. It's yours. You can try to install updates manually. Google to find out how. XZ3 launched in October. Which is almost 6 months away from launching XZ3. In other words, your theory doesn't make any sense.
